Weird situation, I'm sure for most people out there. But it seems pretty fucking ideal to me!

I have a Girlfriend and a girlfriend. They know about each other and are actually friendly with each other. I was in the midst of leaving one for the other and it seems that it may be possible for me to have my cake and eat it too. And not just being able to have a side piece, more like buying the house next door and moving her in type of thing. I know it might be a case of my Girlfriend doing what she can to keep me around. The girlfriend is the one who actually tossed the idea out there. I'm just in the middle and the things both of them are throwing around jive and don't sound too bad to me.

My only real concern would be kids. But they're young and have seen two men married more than once, and at 4 and 5 understand the concept of "gay"...so my concern isn't too great. They know that different things work for different people.

I'm not a monogamous person in any way shape or form. This doesn't seem all that far fetched to me, but I can see how most "squares" would think. Thankfully we're not all that square here. What would you do? I'd love to know.

When I was in the Marines my wife was very bi-sexual, and she had a full time girlfriend. It was great - threesomes were the norm for us. It was wild and crazy time.

Eventually I left the Marines and decided to grow up. We split up, I moved to California. Eventually they followed and moved to San Francisco. They still live together today.

The emotional state stuff you might be right about. The GF has been a bit off, which lead to me leaving. But I'm not taking advantage.

I'm out of the house and here during the days caring for the kids.

This was proposed by the both of them. Not me. And to me, it seems like a pretty good way to make the most of a not so great situation.

I was going to say, if you want to get in touch with some actual individuals in working poly relationships, I can point you in the right direction. Even those with kids. But I think Sarah Jayne's got you covered. ;)

i have a friend who used to live with two girls...he said basically sometimes the sex was cool.
but usually it meant just an extra girl to nag at him..lol

this is all i read this situation as... fun short term, long term nightmare. Unsustainable, but if that isn't important to the person why not?

I seriously doubt that you have been honest with them and confessed to them that you are a thief...or have you?

2 girls and one guy won't work. They will invariably take sides and in joined forces pick you apart.

This only works when you have a religious book that tells women they are to submit to the man.

Communal living with 2-3 guys and 2-3 girls sharing partners would be more ideal. That's the way our closet sapien relatives live.
