"I get that the eggs don’t seem that significant, but it does rise to the level of a felony," Lt. Dave Thompson said Tuesday.

A dozen detectives searched Bieber's home beginning at 8 a.m., Thompson said. During the search, eight people, including the singer, were detained inside the home.

In last Thursday's incident, a neighbor called authorities to the 25000 block of Prado del Grandioso, saying someone was pelting his home with eggs.

The neighbor was home with his daughter at the time and witnessed the incident. Authorities said they didn't know what might have prompted the egging.

Thompson said Bieber is a suspect in the incident.

"The investigation is ongoing. He was not arrested, nor exonerated at this time," he said.

Wonder if the Bieb's rapper sidekick is taking the fall for him about the drugs.

From the video it appears this is not over.

Seems like some twenty thousand dollars of damage was done. Bieber has been pissing off his neighbors for the past year. They staged an early morning raid because they knew they would find drugs - they were right - and they took so many officers because his house is less of a house in the conventional sense, and more of a party pad where a dozen people live.

The police most likely used the egging as an excuse to take a look and I am guessing they aren't too surprised at what they found.

Not too difficult for the average bear to figure out.

Think back to those times you had eggs for breakfast and then left the dishes until later. The egg whites are used in some glues and the yolks were once used as hardeners in paints and for their ability to stick to almost any surface. If you don't deal with the clean up right away (not sure if any neighbor of the Biebs is going to do his own clean up) it's going to cost you to clean it up

It makes sense to me. First his neighbours have been complaining about the loud parties non-stop, and considering the prices of the houses you would want things to stay quite at least once in a while. Next considering the fact that he's young, its very likely that under age people might be there too. All the extra cops detectives might have been there to look for minors. Maybe its a bit much but it sounds like that neighbourhood's police department offers great service.
