Are you promoting cams and getting no results? Do you have some sort of marketing structure and it's not working ever or any more?

If so...

I would be interested in reading about what you are doing, what program you are promoting, how exactly are you promoting, for how long, how much time and money you have spent and what kind of results it is giving you.

The reason I ask is purely educational for me and everybody else. Its about seeing what does not work, at what level it does not work, and how long it has not worked. Knowing what not to do is a good step towards finding what works and avoiding other peoples mistakes.

If you ask "what does work" the ones who are really making it work will not tell in fear of reverse engineering and mass copy paste by uncreative twats. Or you will get bullshit program owners giving you bullshit info or people trying to act like they are pimping but in fact do not even own a website. This approach will perhaps give everybody valuable info that is not tainted by the above mentioned problems and knowledge is power ect.

If you have nothing better to do please explain in full detail what is not working for you, you have no worries of people wanting to copy your idea, but maybe other board members will offer advice and you will see what does not work for others and go in more successful directions with your marketing efforts ect ect

if you dont have cash build your own traffic, thats what i learnt. else by it from reputable sources.

create awesome / mindblowing banners + create awesome landing page
catch emails and send leads to the sponsors via api.
later send them other offers too.

I guess half the people did not read the thread fully and are answering for reasons only known to them I do not need help promoting cams, I have models and mass upload videos to tubes with watermarks and it works fine for me...the point of the thread is to identify what does not work and at what level ect...

Fascinating, nobody wants to admit being unsuccessful or is afraid their bad idea will get copied...

You really expect anyone will post in a public board something like:

1) I purchased/deposited $X on traffic/adv network/brokers Y/Z, put there banners(I made myself/I found in program) for geo country US,CA,AU, on various spots top, bottom, side of various sites X,Y,Z. After X days/hours I had burned the whole $X I deposited, the impressions/clicks ratio was 1:infinite, and of those few who clicked, no one even made a free account on the cam site. I've lost the whole $X.

2) I purchased X domain names and filled these with nice keywords. Google never indexed any.

3) I implemented the blackhat method X on site Y. My page/method was banned on site Y after 10 clicks due to (tos breach: no affiliate ads / no porn / no spam).

4) I signed up for PPS on cam site X. I then invited all my friends to signup there under my ID and deposit the minimum, in exchange I will send them twice what they deposited. But then the program rep said this is a breach of terms and did not paid me.

Or, they don't want more competition. Or, are too busy to post. Or, see no value in posting their success/failures.

If your whole idea is to not do what other people failed at, you are already chopping yourself off at the knee. Just because another guy failed doing XYZ, doesn't mean you will fail doing XYZ. Most people have severe issues with execution and proper planning. XYZ could work perfectly fine if planned and executed properly.

I work 3 different business models, successfully. According to GFY, none of these business models work. I can also think of multiple business models that I was not successful at, but I have friends that were/are successful at.

What's the point of this thread? For everyone to verify that their failures were not really their fault, but the business model itself?

You will learn more studying success than failure.

I always tried adding some videos of actual cam girls with a sign up link underneath. Got a few converts but nothing to write home about. I've always wondered how the hell some people convert so well.

I completely agree with the rest of what you said, it is more up to the individual than it is up to the method. But data is data and is valuable.

Say somebody posted a list of hist sites/marketing efforts and explained his traffic sources, it would help somebody else grasp the extent of work needed to succeed because he would have a reference on past failed marketing attempts of others and would not make the same mistakes or would know up-front that much more work is needed to achieve goal x.

knowing what does not work is valuable info...we all know what putting up a crappy site and buying crappy traffic will not work...but I have seen people with complex marketing structures that are failing at promoting...maybe some of them will share or are about to give up and will post valuable information, that people like me can analyze and give me better perspective on how to try doing the same thing, only my way...
