Willis has been known to be a big dick lately. Who could complain about making a million dollars a day, especially when you're over the hill?

I saw a brief trailer on this last night. Did I see correctly? Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas are in it?

Right there it's a sure winner. When the dust settles this movie will have made money. Piles of it. And not because it's a 'good' movie.

Really all Hollywood has to do is add in some extra footage, "director's cut" footage, or a few extra T&A shots of that hot female everyone's horny for, and that will cause the original to overtake any revenue lost from thieving freeloading downloaders.

I saw that the Spiderman movies for instance made about twice as much as the Expendables. But that's a mega-blockbuster.

The Expendables is never gonna be that. But by that measure...neither are 99% of the movies released.

I'm just saying that when you make a movie for $80 million and it makes $274,470,394 I call that "damn good".

But I definitely bow to your knowledge of how those numbers come out. I don't have a clue.

But if that's not good, then I guess all the movies that were not number one this week are REALLY bad financially.

How the heck does Hollywood even stay in business if they can't profit off of those numbers?

Is everything just riding on the one or two super-gigantic blockbusters each year?
You're in for a real treat, if you're interested. This is how they stay in business.

I saw the dvdscreener online but didn't download it, I don't want to "waste" the movie on a shit quality version... No time to go to the cinema though because of the kids...
