| The best part of the show was the first 5 minutes showing what happened to him after the end of breaking bad. I wont spoil it. Show looks interesting but not sure if Saul can carry it. He's more like comedic relief. Maybe it will get darker as it goes along.

What was the benefit of going through that guy instead of just getting fake identity (for MUCH cheaper) and relocating yourself? Not hating, just trying to remember what was so special about that expensive service. Also - it does not make sense to provide a new job where you interact with lots of customers in open public setting, much higher chances of getting recognized.

 | Well he seemed to have the document thing down as far as passports, etc. I don't imagine it is too easy to get fake passports and ID that looks completely legitimate, but I really have no knowledge of how that works. lol. Also, if you remember how much effort he put into hiding Walter White, he had a piece of property for him to use that he knew was safe, was making scheduled deliveries of supplies, etc. all at great risks to his own freedom if he was to be caught. In the end I just think they probably included him in the story because it sounded cool to have a character that specialized in hiding criminals and giving them a new identity, similar to the "fixer" character played by Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction who handled problems for criminals like a professional.

 | I thought it was fantastic. The news I read about the show was that there would be regular cameos throughout the series. Badger and Skinny Pete being confirmed.

 | I thought it was pretty good for a start it looks like some things are gonna happen in the future. Worst part is Saul looks so old and tired in this show its hard to believe him as a budding young lawyer trying to find his place in the biz.

 | Because of fans and money And what is the problem if tied with some characters from BB? It is before he met Walt and probably before Walt even started the biz so aside from familiar character nothing is tied, all those characters could carry on their unrelated to BB business |

I found BB to be very drawn out the first few episodes. Most disagree with me. I was late to BB and only hung in beyond the first few episodes because everybody kept talking about how awesome it was. Without that reassurance I would have never hung in there until it got good.

problem is, i feel like im watching vince gilligan copy himself. So far nothing is new. the cinematography, pace & characters are all BB. if the entire series is going to copy the BB playbook, i will lose interest, because following an unhinged meth maker is a lot more interesting than following his lawyer. Id rather watch BB season 6 than a copy of BB on a weaker premise. & right now, the most interesting character is mijo, not saul.

 | Not sure, I imagine, a prequel would be the one where they show everything from Walter's perspective... Now Walter is not in the picture at all, they just have some characters who were known to Walter. Which may hapen when it is set in the same town. Plus the prequal is what happenes "before" while this one is more of a "parallel" timeline. |

"What I had read (I guess this will depend on how long the show goes on) is that will cover everything up to and including all the stuff that happened during BB. I imagine there was a lot more going on with him in that time that we don't know about. Supposedly many of the BB characters will make cameos." Prequel time line would be the one that starts way before the BB events and ends also before BB events. Not to mention taht prequel would be following Walter..

Obviously it turned out to be the nuts, and I'm already in a different mindset with BCS than I was as a complete newcomer to BB, and am liking it so far. Always liked the character, and I really did lol at the part in episode 1 where he found the skateboarders, they asked how he found them, and his line "I know, eerie, right?" as the camera panned out on the skateboard park I'm escaping into it rather than looking for plot/character holes etc etc (I seriously can't understand the lengths some people go to when looking for things to gripe about, but there ya go) and so far so good
