Ferguson police chief to net nearly $100,000 upon resignation
Ferguson's embattled police chief, Tom Jackson, is set to receive nearly $100,000, a year's salary, as severance following his resignation, Ferguson Mayor James Knowles III said Wednesday evening during a press conference following an earlier announcement of Jackson's resignation.
The resignation, which will take effect March 19, comes one week after a federal investigation uncovered a pattern of racial bias and police brutality. Ferguson police chief to net nearly $100,000 upon resignation

Ya regular cops around here make that much and are basically just tax collectors and arrest the odd drunk or shoplifter.
