https://gfy.com/fucking-around-and-pr...erdcash-2.html

But now aff-codes were not being overwritten by: aff-id 2026216 but overwritten by: aff-id 2439259. So... doesn't it seem that this is not an old but a recent problem? (unless you changed aff-id 2026216 into aff-id 2439259 right before the links were removed in sept. 2013... but then again... what would have been the logic of that?)

It doesn't sound logic to now overwrite aff-id's after first affaire in 2013.... every program owner knows he is being watched and tested... especially after a first "affaire"... (but i don't understand why there was a set up which over-wrote aff-id's in the first place...)

Have you thought of the possibility of an employee with server acces that secretly signed up as an affiliate and put that new aff-id in the code?
I had considered that but that's not what happened here. The old ID/file was deleted long ago but this aff ID you see here is the one we use exclusively for The Hun. I buy advertising on that site and submit galleries. The top 10-15 spots are all paid spots. You can go and see my galleries there now, all with that aff ID. Those galleries are hosted on my server, on the Porn Nerd Network site/folders. My designer designs the gals, uploads them with that code, etc. Whenever he did so the correct config file would be overwritten - then again when the server refreshed. So it was back-and-forth without me or him realizing this was the problem. I did not fire him because it was not really his fault and was not done intentionally. He has the correct file now so this won't happen again.

How come I have only ever seen option B? Obviously *some* (few, really) instances programs are going to be shady, but does anyone *really* believe this wasn't just a fuckup, and that it was intentional? Wasn't there a long-ass multi-page thread just a few months ago where affiliates were nigh on salivating with hope that a program was purposely doing something shady, rather than understanding that any medium to large network is likely to hit snags, especially with updating, whether that be tours for a paysite, or 'free' sites? Has nobody here ever came across a site/page where they had the wrong linkcode up, or were linking to a 404 page, or any one of a number of possible mistakes?

Man, does the world love a drama. No wonder there's so much shit on TV.
True, but you have much better television in England than we do here. :D

But you know who I am don't you Bako? The only way you know anything about me is from my ProAdult days. Isn't that right? We met at the Diplomat shows back in the nineties. You remember that I was one of the top webmasters they had back then don't you? How are all of our Armenian friends doing these days? You wouldn't happen to know what happened to all that cash they stole from me and the other ProAdult webmasters would you? For me it's somewhere in the neighborhood of $30,000+. It's ok if you don't, the statute of limitations has run out on that little scam. You used to run with that crowd so I thought I would ask.

You also know I'm 6' 4" tall right at 250 lbs so I doubt I have much to worry about from the likes of you. I'm sure we'll meet someday. If I remember correctly you're about 5'2" or so. Face to face, you'll probably come up to my zipper. I'll be sure to put a lock on it.

And by the way, don't ever call my friend Mr. Porn Nerd a cheater unless you have proof and can back it up. We understand each other now don't we?
First of all my first show was 2005 San Diego when Ynot was doing the shows. I'm 6,1 myself and I have never met you in my life. As far as what happen to your money you can go and ask the owners of proadult.com and for your Info I'am a webmaster. Now get your fact straight before you speak up old fool. I told you this once before you are confusing me with someone else you fucking asshole.

I never see program owners calling out other program owners when they fuck up.

Affiliates on the other hand ... are fair game for some reason.
