				 | Corrupt cops stealing from drug dealers isn't exactly new. I'm glad they nailed those two. [Allegedly] corrupt cops are far worse than drug dealers in my book. |

				 | Yea, I am wondering how they got busted. The bitcoins were transferred to Mt Gox and then on to somewhere else. At some point the bitcoins had to be turned to cash. Maybe when turned to cash and moved to personal accounts, Suspicious transaction reports were made. Would have been funny if the cops left the bitcoins in Mt Gox.

				 | Which is usually the case in big cities.. Big organized police forces are nothing more than organized crime. If they aren't involved in shaking people don't they are involved in covering up other dirty cops whom steal or use excessive force. |

				Dea
Years ago the DEA had a task force called Swordfish. They set up shop in Miami and pretended to be investment advisers, who asked no questions where the money came from. Of all the billions of Colombian coke money they only captured $5 million. Oddly after Swordfish was dissolved all the DEA agents soon retired. Must of had a great pension fund. |
