E-cigg recommendation
I decided I want to try to change from smoking "real" cigarettes to Vapor/E-ciggs.
When heading to the closest head/smoke shop I realized there are literally 100s of different vapor/E-ciggs to choose from. Ranging from $10 to a couple of hundred bucks. Does anyone have one they recommend and if so why? Thanks, P |

mine was the simplest and cheapest back in the days... i however got really tired of charging it all the time, so after 10 years of smoking, and 2 weeks of ecig, i quit smoking... definitely worth trying, as real cigars will taste like mud after you smoke the electronic one for a couple of days..

The new tanks that are out are great they rank up there with a lot of the rebuildable atomizers out now. For starters check out the Kanger Subox/Tank - Kanger SUBOX Mini Starter Kit Black
Ive got some coupon codes too if youre interested, the stores will jack up the prices by around 30%

Within the past 2-3 months the ecig technology has really increased ten fold and the prices of the tech have started to drop. You cant go wrong with Kanger, Aspire, or Horizon.

You might want to try the Fling disposable E Cigs. It looks like a slightly oversized cigarette but will last a week depending on how much you smoke.

eLeaf iStick and a Nautilus Mini tank to start - pick your juice according to taste.
Total about $100 (do eBay and don't go back). Good luck on quitting. Best move you will ever make. |

You can order all of the Kanger shit on Aliexpress.com for usually half of what the shops are selling them for. |

The Nautilus mini is an okay tank...it cant really handle much power, about 11-15 watts max. For the money theres so many better options that give you a lot more flexibility. Currently using an IPv4 Mini 70 watt - Black iPV Mini 2 70 Watts Mod by Pioneer4you Horizon Sub Ohm Tank - Arctic Sub-Ohm BTDC Tank by Horizon @Candyflip - Just be careful with that stuff. A lot of that is faked, I wouldnt trust something I'm pushing high wattage through that's near my face.

I'd also suggest getting a MVP 20 watt box mod, with any kanger/aspire tank. I would suggest aero tank for a starter. I started 1.5 years ago with a MVP 2 10 and kanger, and it served me well till I upgraded. It's the best way to quit. I've tried over 30 years, and this is the longest without cigs ever, and I'm never going back to smoking.

v2 here, from 60 cigs a day down to 5 - 10 a day (unless I'm out, fuck carrying an ecig around)
The previous ones in this thread are a bit OTT for my liking, plus it looks like you need to park them on the drive overnight... depending on whether you want something like those or something a bit less heavy duty, like I say the v2 kit does the job fine. I was a very heavy smoker, and I still have the ecig on the go almost all the time, so it definitely does the job. GL whichever one you go for, decent ecigs definitely work |

Been usin' my MVP2.0 with an Aspire tank for about a year - still works great. My only issue is it goes through coils faster than the old dual coil (wick style) clearomizer tanks.
Only had 2 real cigs in the past two years after taking up the vape. Smoked for 35 years prior to that. |

As a Former Smoker of 3 packs + a day for 30 years I tried the shitty e-cigs they are a real pain in the ass because yer always charging the damn battery.
Do Not try the e-cig type if your goal is to QUIT get yourself a good Mod Vape and Sub Ohm tank I run an Innokin MVP Pro 3.0 With a Herkules tank it works great . Cost me 74.99 and Battery last for DAYS not Hours OK NOW some things vape shops Don't tell you When you use a Mod and sub Ohm tank you need to use a LOW MG Nicotine vape fluid. If not your gonna Overdose yourself on Nicotine because of how much the Mods/SubOhms put out Trust me I listened to guy at vape shop and all he wanted to do was sell his fluid so I bought his fluid it was 18 MG Nic, but after awhile I started to get the Nicotine headache which is first sign of overdose. Not to mention that shit was harsh as hell on my throat . SO I did some research and found a really good combo for my Innokin and Sub Ohm tank. I went to a place I found online called DR Crimmys and ordered up some of their Vanilla Custard with Brown Sugar,Granny Smith Apple and Extra Vanilla with 6mg Nicotine 125 ML for 30$ and OMG its fucking amazing . Another thing to remember is that if you order any fluids from online and they make them special let them steep for a week once you get them shake the bottle everyday an you will be glad you did the flavor really comes out after steeping. Hope this helps you out. Another place you can check for vape supplies is thevapemall.com they have some pretty decent deals on mods / tanks / juices |

Just upgraded my setup to an IPv3 165 watt box mod with a Vector Rebuildable RDA. Boy what a difference in flavor, not to mention you're not spending $4-5 per coil that only last a few days.

I agree, iStick is about the best deal around. Swapped out my Kanger Pro Tank for a Subtank Mini though.

Haha I don't run it at that wattage. Plus this is the new temp control which uses different types of coils. I have tp say one of my buddies got me into and it kinda turned into a hobby. I don't really do it outside of the house and if I do I'm using my horizon tank. Its obnoxious carrying a huge mod around and blowing clouds everywhere.
Besides my incident, isticks have a huge failure rate. I would stay away from any eleaf products for the time being.

I got my IPv3 for $75 and a Vector rebuildable atomizer for $40...so $115 total. Youll also need 2 batteries and a charger (had these already). That will set you back about another $50. I ended up swapping the Vector out for a BAAL - El Diablo. Much cooler vape and a lot more flavor. Its unbelievable how different setups (coils, atomizer, mod) produce different amounts of vapor and flavor.

Sounds like you are just getting started...
All good recommendations on here. If you're gonna just switch to ecigs, get disposables and see how it goes they are super cheap and are a good entry point. (sub $10) to see if you dig it. If you're getting into vaping grab a starter kit like a Joyetech eGo 1 or similar and familiarize yourself with mods. Fasttech is a good place for cheap (some clones and some authentic stuff)

I smoked a pack a day for about 20 years, and a little over a month ago I decided to give ecigs a try. I picked up one of those Mark10 starters for around $15 (and it comes with a coupon for your first purchase of cartridges) - mainly because they were a recognizable brand that I figured would be easy to find cartridges for when I needed them. Although the cartridges are supposed to be the equivalent of a pack of cigarettes, I'm still on my 4th, so I'm clearly not vaping as much as I smoked. In fact, I think I am at the point that I can walk away from the nicotine altogether.
I know a lot of people say that vaping should not be part of a smoking cessation plan, but that's exactly what it has been for me. I'm really looking forward to taking up running again.
