Chrome blocks flash ads now and this is how it looks

I have installed last beta of chrome and I can see now all flash content paused. This is how it looks for instance on GFY :

What version are you running? I'm still seeing flash promos playing without issue on GFY...Just upgraded to 43.0.2357.132. I just got that same Sextronic ad and it animated without me having to do anything.

I could be wrong, but i don't believe it. It is probably something on your computer doing it.

Why would google who's business is basically all ads ever in their wildest dreams block flash and thus block a form advertising? That makes 0 sense.

Again i may be wrong. but i think you're TRIPPING!

Thanks for those links, Xmaster!

I'm not running the beta but I see that setting is forthcoming. Are you on a laptop? I'd be interested to know if this setting is only enabled on lappy's or if all desktops will be impacted. The Chrome blog specifically mentions it as a "power improvement" but that's more or less irrelevant on a traditional desktop.
