The country has changed a lot since Bush was elected. Even in the Bush elections, it was neck and neck and he lost the popular vote. He was handed the White House by the electoral college and by his Brother who was the govenor of the deciding state.

The only reason the right has survived this long, was because of the extensive gerrymandering of key voting areas. The Democrats have widely failed when it comes to winning govenor races at state levels, which has allowed the right to stay competitive..

The problem is it worked when the demographics were in their favor, but that's no longer the case.. The Right has painted themselves into a corner by catering to only the rich and white people. Now the demographics have changed and their gerrymandering and lies no longer work..

It's simply a numbers game, the numbers no longer work for them..

I'm very close to a doctor who has been in practice since the early 70's (maxillofacial surgeon). He hasn't had a malpractice suit during those four decades, and probably not even a complaint. The same could be said for the network of doctors he knows.

I can base my opinions on common sense. Any doctor who has a malpractice suits against him, especially that many in a relatively short time is not doing something right.

But it's your job to defend assholes, so you just keep at it. I've never seen you on the correct side of an argument, so why would you start now? If someone was smashing kittens with a hammer, you'd find a study online to put up a defense.

It doesn't work like that. You can't declare and idea or theory then ask others to prove you wrong, else the idea is fact. It just doesn't work this way.

It's common knowledge that the ancient Egyptians built pyramids as tombs for the pharaohs and their queens. The pharaohs were buried in pyramids before the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the end of the Middle Kingdom. This was taught in elementary school. Carson should know this already.

Of course, it's possible that he didn't know, and maybe studying medicine means he didn't study other subjects or become well-rounded in the ways of science. However since he is now running for President, he should at least take some crash courses or at least, learn to say "I don't know" when he really doesn't know the answer to a question instead of saying something stupid like Pyramids for made for storing grain".

There have been archaeologists who claim the dating of the pyramids are much older then the time of the great Egyptians. And that they were already built by the time the Egyptians found them.

Even archaeologists who have the same thinking as you argue the exact way they were built. So no you don't really know how they were "built".

I'm not saying Carson is even close to being right. But it is good to keep an open mind (again not saying he is right)
