Hi all,

Last night (December 29th/30th) the Paxum website experienced some loading issues and functionality problems due to a DDOS attack against our servers.

Our techs have restored site functionality, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience this situation caused our clients.

The site is operating properly now. Please let us know if you encounter any further issues.

Thanks
Ruth

Ruth said this in another thread.

Paxum account-holders with Trucash issued cards please be advised that unfortunately transfers to the card are temporarily unavailable. We understand how much some of our clients rely on the card services that Paxum provides, and we know that you expect those services to be available anytime you need them. We are committed to get to the bottom of this issue as quickly as possible, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We are awaiting communication from the card issuer and we will update you as soon as we have more information. In the meantime please remember we do offer alternative withdrawal options including withdrawal to external card, EFT and Wire withdrawal. These options can be found inside the Withdrawal section of your Paxum account.
We will provide an update as soon as one is available.

How many times for my money to come back in my Paxum account?
I sent a wire to my bank 1 month ago, which should come back to my account, as my bank never received it.

Payoneer works fine for me, because when it came to switching, I ordered FirstChoice card individually, and kept Payoneer and using it for years without problem.

Dear XXXXXX,

Unfortunately we were notified by our accounting department that the processor is encountering delays due to the large amount of transfer requests and your transfer has not been processed yet. We expect it to be processed in the shortest time possible.

We thank you for your patience and understanding and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Best Regards."

So, all non specific words. How bout, I sent this fucker a week ago, and you still have not processed, answer "we will rush process this today"
They got the $50 transfer fee on the 18th, but cant actually process the transfer?

They said their capability to send outgoing wires in USD has been severely limited due to each wire having to go through some type of control. So regardless of when you paid them, it is not Paxum who sets the speed on those controls. Just take a big chill pill, sit down and you’ll be next in line in a week or two. The part the write ”We expect it to be processed in the shortest time possible” is of course only bogus, they know fairly well how long the delay will be, they just don’t care to calculate it for each and every wire but instead issue you a standard answer.

Yeah, I can see his location but that does not necessarily mean he is withdrawing in USD

It can be a variety of reasons, from a limit the bank has, to the transaction raising flags, to a policy the bank has, to a temporary communication problem.

We've checked the situation again and we can confirm that the transaction was rejected by the card issuer.

Regarding the reason, we don't have a clear one, it can be any of the previously mentioned ones or another.

Basically, if you still can't get a clear resolution from the card issuer you need to use a different card.

As Denny already suggested, try it to a card issued by a REGULAR bank.

All that you listed above are fintech providers. They have a habit of blocking incoming transfers from other fintech providers.

Dear,

Although we understand your point of view there's really nothing else we can do about this. The processor is just unable to send the funds to any of these cards. The answer we're receiving is that the processor is unable to obtain the authorization from the card issuer.

We suggest that you make sure you're not using a VPN/Proxy when attempting to make this transfer and try again in a few hours time.

If the transaction is still not successful you need to try a different card, making sure that it's a Debit or a Credit card (not a prepaid one) and that the bank accepts funding on that card from anywhere around the world.

If you don't have any other cards to which you can withdraw the funds you need to use a different method, such as the WIRE withdrawal and withdraw the funds directly to your bank account.

Best regards.

I have both dollar and euro. It looks like I can't withdraw with dollars anymore and my euro account is available BUT I always get dollars.

The exchange rate from $ to € is horrible.

The exchange rate from $ to € is horrible.

1.105 worldwide, paxum 1.125.
So you loose 20 usd on 1k? Unbelievable...

You need to exchange that to Eur then send wire to your Eur bank account.

That's your only option, take it and go

I have 10.000$ I need to exchange to euro which is $200 + 50 (or 70 not sure) withdrawal fee + another $20 fee my own bank charges.

Nearly $300 dollar for a withdrawal. Nice!

Yeah it's pretty crazy. They need to reenable USD wires for everyone, or set back the exchange rates to normal.
