Trying to ID what this is a photo of

It is inside

North Carolina Air National Guard, can't figure it out from there.

These are barrels of ballast.

They're used to simulate real weight loading when testing airframes.

Conspiracy theorists say they are one of the causes of "chemtrails"

In reality the barrels are usually filled with water.

Those images are of different aircraft. The first one is an A380 upper deck, the second one I don't know.

Thank you. You are correct, a relative who [is old enough to know better] has recently become a CT convinced that even though he is on SFO's back door, he is being sprayed.

this aircraft is a c-130, my dad flew on one when he first got with NASA. i don't think that is ballast they are loading in there, with those flumes out the back, i'm going to guess this particular c-130 is outfitted with fire fighting equipment, that's an extinguisher i bet

c-130 can be customized in a variety of ways, great aircraft.

I knew that was a C130, and suspected the same as fire retardant
