My reaction to NH RNC Debate
First, most interesting debate so far from the RNC.
Individually, here is how I seen it. I'm giving them advice... haha... Christy - Probably should push his drug rehab issues more. He did well with that. Kashish - Probably should not push what he did for Ohio because of the mass tax increases & fees. and the extra jobs that he had nothing to do with creating from oil and gas fracking. I am willing to bet when someone else drops out, they are going to call you out on it. Everything else was good moderate republican stands. Rubio - Give up now as you just proved what everyone was saying about you. And you looked very foolish. Bush - You presented yourself well, but look around you, nobody wants one more Bush in the White House. (listen to your mom, she said the same a year ago). Carson - You need to step up your game or get out. Although ABC was not fair to you (and neither was Cruz). Trump - Half of what you said makes sense. But why do you still insist in saying things that are just not possible. Give you a "A" for keeping voter enthusiasm with that. But it looks silly to everyone else. Cruz - 1/3 of what you said made sense but the other 2/3 will not even cut it with your own party. You and Rubio can't win the White house this time by attacking Obama, he is not running. Most noteworthy, The way I seen it for this round, Christy probably made the most progress, Rubio lost it Trump maintained it and Carson unfairly did not get many questions to answer. |

I only watched the Republican debate for about thirty seconds before I threw up in my mouth a little.... I forget which one said it but they said we "don't need four more years of Obama". You know, the unemployment rate just dropped down to 4.9% and clearly we do not need more of this.
I swear to god if a Republican ends up in office I will sit here and bitch about the "real unemployment rate" until you are all blue in the face.

Two of them should probably work on name recognition, seeing as how you misspelled them in your analysis.

I never said I supported any of these guys/ Just my observations from the debate. As long as Trump keeps coming in 2/3rd place, and winning a few, he will most likely take this to the floor of the convention in a very bloody battle against the establishment. Believe it or not, I think that would be a healthy thing for the nation to see. |

I'm cool with that, but at least you will admit there is a real unemployment rate now!

Wow...just watched that montage of Rubio repeating his little line over and over and over.
It was like watching a robot that had a glitch in it. I've said this since the beginning: The candidate that actually scares me is Rubio. When I saw him in the first debate I realized he was fucking crazy. He is a religious extremist to the max. |

All too real. Having said that, I'm not blaming the guy from Kenya. I've no doubt that the economy would be even worse had either of the tools he ran against won.

I love that on The Wire, Clay's expression keeps getting longer and longer.
If the show had been on for ten seasons, he would have had to take a deep ass breath and say it for a minute straight.

Carson - called out Cruz for his bs in Iowa. was ignored in large part and still looked sleepy.
Christie - improved the most in this debate and it was good to see him embarrass by calling him out directly for repeating the same rehearsed speeches. Cruz - slimy scumbag piece of shit who'd be better off working with Peter Popoff as a televangelist selling Miracle Spring Water. Jeb! - tried to come off like a tough guy but failed and looked sheepish as he usually does. Got owned by Trump again by being told to shut up and he accepted it. Such low energy. Kasich - beta phaggot RINO who thinks illegals who has weird hand gestures and won't shut up about Ohio. Wish he'd drop out already. embarrassed and shown for the empty suit he is. Rubio - was exposed for being an inexperienced dweeb who just rehearses soundbites, and even after being exposed repeated the same thing three more times. Loser. Trump - showed once again that he's alpha as fuck by telling Jeb!, the moderator Josh, and the Republican donor audience to shut up, and all of them listened to him when he did so. He has the best ideas up there and a Trump presidency would kick ass in so many ways. Such high energy.

And you're spot on. Romney or McCain would have made little difference to the US or West's economy. And that's what made the West great. Listening to their replies on temperament to be Commander-In-Chief was comical. Some of these guys should never be in charge of a gun, let alone an Army. Cruz would carpet bomb ISIS, Trump thinks everyone backs down to him. Both are idiots or think their voters are. |

I like some of the things the candidates promise. The problem is their plans for achieving their aims.
The West's economy is performing badly compared with the Third World. Whether this is the West's benevolence for our poorer brethren. Or the 0.05% deciding they can be richer by exporting our jobs, is up to you to decide. |

Goddamn... Rochard just refuses to simply use Google.
Not only doesn't he keep up with the news over the years, but then he doesn't just simply "research" for 2 seconds before posting ignorant shit: U.S. changes how it measures long-term unemployment - USATODAY.com |

More links to TRY and educate Rochard since he doesn't know how to use "search" on the internet yet:
The Official Unemployment Rate Is Wrong, Says Guy Who Used To Calculate It The Big Lie: 5.6% Unemployment Government To Change Way It Counts Long-Term Unemployed ? Consumerist There are lots more links...but I'm sure Rochard just can't figure out how to find them. Instead he just blindly accuses the people trying to tell the truth of just trying to make the current admistration look "bad". And of course...here is the link THAT I ALREADY SHOWED HIM IN ANOTHER THREAD (I guess he just wants to come on here and pretend he didn't see it). It's the U.S. Govt. Bureau of Labor. And it shows that 38% of the "of age" workforce in the United States is unemployed. Go ahead Rochard...look at if for yourself...PLEASE: Bureau of Labor Statistics Data |

No...it's not a new thing. But the latest thing they did in 2010 really changed the numbers game.
Of course that number of 38% from the Bureau Of Labor is the REAL amount of working age people in the workforce who are now unemployed. For Rochard to state otherwise (without even bothering to take a second to google it up) shows a lot of ignorance of the subject. And pertaining to your statement that it "isn't new"...the first change to the way they calculate it was done in 1994. Not during the Reagan years. The second change was just done in 2010. And it's the one that everyone started talking about because it DRASTICALLY undercounts. Read those links I posted above. It explains what they did far better than I can. |

Unemployment and low skilled/paid in the West are growing problems. This will get far worse and grow faster than GDP does. So the gap between the haves and have-nots will widen. Plus the middle classes will shrink.
Because most of our manufacturing jobs have gone to the Third World. Many jobs require a high level of education. And there's not a lot left. Even higher education and re-training won't solve the problem. Companies like Boeing and Apple have high skilled people in the West, creating the new products and improving existing. Soon those departments will move to the Third World where the production plants are. To employ people building houses, plumbers, electricians, auto repair etc. We have to have a rich consumer base. That's shrinking and will continue to shrink as those jobs disappear. Not all, just enough to make more impact. There won't even be as many jobs in Starbucks and Macys. Because their won't be enough customers to warrant so many staff. Look at trade figures from 1965 to today and see the next 50 years if we keep to this path. And forget about selling porn or dating memberships in the same quantity. The shrinking Middle Class. The Growing Poor Class. US rich and poor gap. And anyone who thinks politicians who are rich or bought and paid for by the rich, are going to change anything. I have a few bridges and a river to sell to them. |
