Asteroid may come as close as 11,000 miles from Earth next month
They say on March 5th an asteroid will come as close as 11,000 miles from Earth and you can see it with the naked eye. It is about 100 feet across. I already forget but I find it hard to believe you can see anything that far away that is only 100 feet big.
Even seeing it from 10 miles seems hard unless it is glowing. They also said they have no idea how close it will come because it could be as far as 9 million miles away so that is a hell of a difference. Sounds crazy but I guess a 100 foot wide asteroid hitting earth wouldn't do much.
