I'm going to release an op-ed this coming week going off on mother fuckers. So angry right now, I'm scared I'll turn green and rip my shorts.

I ended up taking 1/8th (.25mg) of Xanax bar after three beers and passed the fuck out. The anger has subsided...for now. The good news is that I didn't stop breathing in my sleep from mixing Xanax and beer. Phew. Dodged a bullet.

When I get like that, I toss the Nikon and mountain bike in the SUV and find a trail somewhere I've never been on. After an hour or two of fresh air and exercise it's amazing how all that static fades away and becomes very insignificant.

I've been going out and jogging. Just got back from a mile walk/run. It's only a mile, but it's a start. I can't believe how quickly you can get out of shape! Just a year ago I could run five miles non-stop no problem. Now I can't even jog a full mile without having to walk a little to weeze.

I could care less about the Oscars. African Americans are under represented in Hollywood? Then go out and make your own movies and TV shows. Stop complaining about it.

As for the elections... It's business as usual. It's politics and they will keep at it until November.

It's not all about the exercise, it's just getting outside and blowin' off the cobwebs. I find even hiking is good - change of scenery and spendin' time focusing on getting a good photo now and then. Sounds cliche, but it takes the mind to a different place.
