Louis C.K. on Trump

P.S. Please stop it with voting for Trump. It was funny for a little while. But the guy is Hitler. And by that I mean that we are being Germany in the 30s. Do you think they saw the shit coming? Hitler was just some hilarious and refreshing dude with a weird comb over who would say anything at all.

Louis C.K. on Trump: "The guy is Hitler. And by that I mean we are being Germany in the 30s." - Vox

Hitler? WTF are you talking about, libtard?
That CK dude always seemed like a libby/guilter type judging by his show.

Wasn't it the nazi German party that sought out a spokesman for their interests and found that with a short, loud, speaker... hitler.

Wouldn't that qualify trump as almost the exact opposite as hitler with absolutely no party backing?

Like trump said way back... us government does plenty of its own killing. You could compare a government who commonly kills people and trying to rig the election with the likes 9f Rubio etc. To have much more in common with hitler.

Here's Hillary kissing Robert Byrd former Exalted Cyclops of the West Virginia KKK.

Here's Hillary singing the praises of the former Exalted Cyclops of the West Virginia KKK.

Watch it and be sure to compare her to Hitler as well, or does she get a liberal pass?

Reductio ad Hitlerum is sometimes called "playing the Nazi card". It is a tactic often used to derail arguments, because such comparisons tend to distract and anger the opponent, as Hitler and Nazism have been condemned in the modern Western world.

Another instance of reductio ad Hitlerum is asking a question of the form "You know who else...?" with the deliberate intent of impugning a certain idea or action by implying Hitler held that idea or performed such action

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law

In December 2015, Godwin commented on the Nazi and fascist comparisons being made by several articles on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, saying that "If you’re thoughtful about it and show some real awareness of history, go ahead and refer to Hitler or Nazis when you talk about Trump. Or any other politician."

I remember driving across the country back in '94 and I heard this song and knew it was foreshadowing for something much larger... welp... wait and watch what happens if Trump loses because it was rigged...

I will give Trump a little bit of credit. Yes I think he's a Bigot and he's playing everyone for fools. His "Raise your right hand and pledge to vote for me" is actually, a good move on his part. I suspect that he will keep his followers following him.

Now, everyone who loves me so, hold on to your hats. I'm about to slam my liberal friends in the liberal media on something. While my buds at MSNBC see this as a Nazi thing, believe it or not, I don't. To me, when trump raised his hand and asked that everyone do the same, it looked just like something any one of us might do in court, swearing to tell the truth.

When I saw Trump do this, his right arm was extended to his side, elbow bent up.

A Nazi salut is very different. A nazi salut has your arm extended straight out, angled up at about 45 degrees, with your hand tilted up.

Trump is a bigot and a prick and a fear mongered and a race bater and all that other shit. His voter pledge salut though, does not remind me of Hitler.

Unless I've missed something completely....

You realize that you can find similarities between Hitler and any other politician?
You realize that you can find similarities between opposite of Hitler (enter any "good past politician here) and Trump as well?

You can cherry pick similarities to "support" your agenda. Turn on your critical thinking before making conclusions from cherry picked (favorable to your argument/agenda) things.

hah, godwin simply made an observation, not a law, that the longer an internet argument goes on, the better the chance of one side comparing the other to Hitler. That observation has nothing to do with the logical fallacy of the Hitler comparison in and of itself and certainly does not validate a comedian making the comparison in order to goad people into changing their voted to someone he thinks is better.

Trump's audience is making the fascist salute arms in the air. Trump is holding his hand up as like when taking an oath (practicing for his upcoming court cases?) Trump isn't the one behaving like a fascist or Nazi. Sounds more like he is talking at a bunch of 4th graders ...

Trump told the audience to swear an oath to vote in the elections for him -- he didn't tell his zombies to fascist or Nazi salute the leader like Hitler did.

ergo: the Trumpsters are the ones who are the object of the sarcasm -- his followers behaving the same as Mussolini's Black Shirts or Hitler's Brown Shirts behaved (in the beginning) during the 1920s and 1930s. At least they are not burning books or attacking Mexicans and Muslims with baseball bats in the streets.

Fascist-lite

Trump seems amused by how easily he manipulates both the publicity and how his followers behave.

*Look how these dummies dance to my tune*
Like the 'Little Trumpettes' singing at that rally -- 1940s nostalgia choreographing.

It's a bit ridiculous and happens too often during elections.

It seemed like only yesterday when Obama was compared to Hitler...

Hillary is more creepy, corrupt, untrustworthy and sneaky than Trump.

Anyone who denies that has his or her head up their ass.
