It's released under GPL, right? It's very strange there is no a fork for it...

P.S. Just checked. It's GPL 3.0, so it's free for modifications and re-releases.

I wouldnt personally recommend using WP for tubes. But if you're going to anyway, go with WP-SCRIPT. The support is not amazing but the backend is extremely user friendly and it's super easy to import content etc. Just check it out for yourself : https://www.wp-script.com/?ref=4065
