what has happened to Google Images?
I'm looking for the right images on Google. Yesterday in the thumbnail display I would click on the image, stay on Google and see a larger version with more details and can click next of back. Now I don't see the larger version or options. It takes me straight to the site.

Some of them take you to the site but I think that's the webmasters doing, not Google's. It's been that way for a while. Otherwise I have no problems.

Google images is not doing their AJAX correctly for all browsers -- use Chrome
 I had the Thumbnail display disappear this morning in Firefox. Page refresh restored it. Remember: "Do no evil" is not longer Google's motto ... |

 For months the larger images disappeared sporadically. Anyway, do as Google says not as they do LOL. |
