I think Trump went into serious debt in the 2009 financial crisis. I also think he and his family borrowed a shit-ton of money from Russia via Deutche Bank since no American banks would lend to him anymore thanks to his history of fucking people over.

All of this, plus a possible pee-tape, and maybe some other things, have put Trump in tremendous debt to Russia.
