Do you think there’s going to be a second brexit referendum?
I don’t pay much attention to politics, can someone who’s in the know post cliff notes on the subject please.

Immediately after the UK voted to leave there were some politicians saying they wanted a second vote. SNP, Liberals, Greens and others were determined to get a fresh vote.
The problem is some will want another referendum until they get the vote they want. SNP says it will have a new independence referendum when the UK leaves the EU. So they can keep the EU trade. Which is 5 times less than the trade they do with the UK. Or do they believe the EU will allow them to have a separate trade deal wit the UK? LOL |

Funny how those leading the charge didn't want anything to do with working out the details once they won. They just wanted to create chaos.

The EU can see that a majority of politicians don't want to leave the EU. They know that Westminster will try at every stage to thwart the Out vote. This gives them the advantage. So they can now play hardball and the Remainers can get what they want. To stay in the EU. If the EU knew from day one that the UK was leaving on March the 23rd with or without a deal, the UK was preparing for a No Deal exit. It would have been more flexible. More EU jobs are reliant on a good trade deal with the UK than UK jobs reliant on the EU. Yes it would be hard at first, but the UK would be in charge of it's own future and have the world to trade with. |
