I always go out of my way to find a referral link if I'm going to sign up to a new sponsor. It's satisfying to know I can make someone else money too

Probably true.

I personally wouldn't push Clickaine too hard for two reasons: a) not jumping thru hoops to get paid how I want to be paid for a relatively small ad network and b) direct deals are more lucrative for me anyways.
