How can you not known this, this site is almost as old as you are

His traffic is golden, he ranks on some of the best keywords. He makes money from both affiliate links and selling listings to tube sites etc. I know what he charges and people renew year after year, so I know the numbers in this thread are not wrong.

The costs he has are his link buying expenses and the team that runs the network.
I have done now and here are the results.

https://www.siteworthtraffic.com/report/theporndude.com

https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/theporndude.com

https://www.siteworthtraffic.com/rep...m#alexa-graphs

https://www.siteprice.org/Tools/website-traffic-checker

https://www.trafficestimate.com/theporndude.com

A lot of different answers. But I've tried to find proof of earnings something others haven't bothered to do. They have just claimed he earns big.

Quote:
We estimate the website value of theporndude.com is currently at $ 1,129,119 USD and reaches roughly 232,042 unique users each day that generate 515,578 daily pageviews with a daily revenue (from advertisements, i.e Google AdSense) of $516 USD approximately. According to Alexa (the Web Information Company) the Global Traffic Rank is 1,974 (view Alexa traffic graphs), the website belongs to the top 100,000 most popular websites in the world.
So does anyone else have actual proof and not jst claims based on guesses?

Those revenue estimate sites are garbage, I have sites not / or very low ranked in alexa doing 100$-200$ a day that according to revenue estimaters dont even earn that per month.

The best proof I have is that his webcam sex section is directly competing with some of my webcam sex page 1 keywords, and but he's also ranking for a shit ton more other webcam sex related keywords page one, plus he pulls more traffic in a day than I do in a month.

So if i'm netting 200-300k Is it really that unthinkable paul that he's netting 500k?

I have no idea what his video/tube promotion section makes, but i'm willing to bet his live cam section alone is good for that 500k.

Let's out it this way: The Porn Dude will not accept my money, no matter how much I offer, to list even ONE of my websites. This tells me he is fully-booked, doing fine, does not want to alter any of his current partnerships and we (the rest of us) can politely go fuck ourselves.

And I say good for him!

That is not even close to actual proof - Sorry Paul...

Those sites are nonsense at the best of times and when it comes to adult they are even further removed from the reality - There are simply far too many variables.....

100% agreed. So what proof can one come up with other than guessing? My point is so far we've had nothing but wild guesses all based on wild guesses. Do you have an accurate stat that shows how much traffic theporndude.com and the click through rate is?

Then you're a bad businessman. Prices should be based on results and staying loyal to people who are struggling does,t make sense.

Of course, it would help if other people told us of you refusing to take their ads.

Your guess that he doesn't net 500k is based on you're experience selling titty pictures in the 90's

I think you're the wild guesser here and that's ok, and you could even be right

But and this is not a guess You're close minded, living in the past and not open to any input from people who are building successful sites in the modern times

I don't have a clue - You could possibly get a rough idea using the advanced (paid) Alexa tools to estimate traffic and see where it comes from - For example you could find out the % of search traffic etc - I still don't think it would get you even a ballpark figure though...

I've always wondered about income and that site.

I never paid much attention to it when it initially came out as it was merely a directory. How could a directory get that much traffic? Why would anyone return? It's a directory that lists some paid spots and some trades, so it's not even the owner's favorite sites or porn that he really filtered out and deemed quality.

Obviously I was wrong and the owner was able to turn it into a huge success and good on him.

I've read that having a huge backlink profile was his secret, and they say backlinks are dead for SEO. So now he's getting lots of Google traffic and selling it to tubes/sites and making some affiliate cam money too. Good on him again. It's risky because quality backlinks are expensive to maintain year after year but again he's proven to have made it work without any real content other than a review page here and there.

If the estimates here on his cam earnings are close to what he earns then that's great to hear. One person's success means that others can do it too, in their own way.

If anyone wants to try setting up a Directory list themselves they can try the Maddos WordPress theme. You'll still have to do the traffic building yourself though.

Thanks.

I'm not looking to copy anyone but to learn from people like PD to make my own sites bigger/more successful.

But thanks for the tip.

The site makes millions per year for sure.

He doesn't have to spend hundreds of thousands on links because he can partner with those sites in link swaps.

Content is probably his largest expense. He has the site translated to many different languages.

But even then, not a huge expense compared to revenues.

When I read GFY on my phone, the MrPheer filter does not work and I can see blocked people. Apparently, some folks don't understand the concept of taking what information you do have and extrapolating an educated guess.

Why do we measure ourselves against other people so much? The real question is what am I doing today that I could do better today and tomorrow. If you’re looking at other people as a measuring point do what they do instead of looking up and attempting to throw rocks at them. Time is much better spent trying to emulate those that we admire instead of trying to kick them down to make ourselves feel better. Just a thought.

$500k is certainly doable for the guy. I'm questioning some of the estimates of a $million. As no one so far gave us any indication of how it's possible, let's say $500k

If a new client comes along who can pay more, if traffic is so great it's easy to sell it at a higher price, if adverts are producing great returns people will pay more. If a new client drops out there will be others to fill the space if the space is good.

Yes my advice is priceless thank you for the compliment.

One of the links I gave was from Alexa. https://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/theporndude.com

Using the search terma people use how well does his site do over the actual site itself?

What's the bounce rate, time on the site, pages viewed, etc?

Does he earn well? Yes.

Does he earn a $milion in 2020 from just that site? Not likely so what other sites does he own?

Let's see someone who is already paying for Alexa advanced tool to come up with facts.

No worries I've been ridiculed for decades on GFY, especially when I said free porn would overtake paying for porn eventually.

Since I'm pretty much housebound I have the time to post for an hour.

I'm sure you are doing very well from the site and no need to worry.

You can look up his company numbers. It's public information.

These numbers are from the year before, so 2018 is actually 2017. Not sure about his traffic growth since 2017 but we could use that to make a guess of the current numbers.

So he made about $500k in 2018 (2017) according to these figures.

Not bad at all.

Paul, money is the objective but something’s winning on autopilot is nice sometimes.
