Againt my better judgement, I want...

...to buy links.

Anyone have any experience with http://www.hardlinks.org ?

He has been around for quite a while and seems like a stand up guy, but that doesn't mean I am willing to hurt my sites which is more important than the cost of the links.

I am looking more for the traffic than the back links for SEO purposes.

If you have experience with this service, spill it!

Most of the bulk sellers are intended for SEO purposes so don't expect traffic from them.
If ya want traffic better to buy links from a handful of individual sites willing to show stats before a purchase than a bulk deal intended more for SEO.

Interesting observation, but wouldn't any site of any value for SEO also generate decent quality traffic? If it can't offer any quality traffic with some quantity as well, how could it be any good for SEO.

Sadly what I am seeing is no one has used this service here or is willing to talk about it in the open. My intention was to only use it as a kick start.

You would think so.

You hear over and over that the SE's like quality links and that 1 million poor quality links are not as effective as 1 good one.

Who really knows though. Ask the tubes what they do.

There are sellers here offering 5, 10, 15 etc... links on their own network for a higher price that will show traffic stats as they have traffic as well. When someone offers 50-300+ links for chump change assume minimal traffic as you get what ya pay for.

I could sell ya 32 niche tube links in 1 shot relatively cheap but same deal would be 32 hard links on all .com domains but wouldn't send much traffic. If I was linking ya on something with mad traffic wouldn't be as cheap.

To chime in here, it's also a lot to do with the type of link.

It's also important to keep in mind that most surfers go to sites to look at the content, not click on someone's text links.

While there is sure to be some traffic received from the higher quality options, it certainly would likely never produce the traffic volume that an actual advertisement would. The difference is the straight hardlink option provides a weighted, unscripted backlink with less traffic while the other (advertisement) provides more traffic, but without the SEO value. The other upside to buying traffic via advertisements is usually they can be targeted to geographic preference, time of day, certain types of browsers or mobile devices, etc.

Thus, if it's traffic you are most interested in, you should consider one of the various traffic brokers or advertisement companies (rebel-ads, juicyads, etc).

If it's SEO hardlinks you want, it's not likely you will be happy with low to mid range offers. The sites with top quality text links that can send decent clicked traffic each day that isn't skimmed charging upwards of 1k / month, and higher, for their top SEO text links on a single site. As ErectMedia mentioned, you usually get what you pay for.

Incidentally, I've done business with SEO Keyboard Ninja several times over the last number of years and he represents some very large entities. He's been nothing short of professional in every dealing we have had with him.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Funny how when I sell ads on my mainstream sites to customers they are SEO optimized mixing both graphics and SE readable text.

A link that says "www.mydomain.com" is not what I am looking for. I want to have "500 models of Rabbit Vibrator Sex Toys on Sale" linking to http://buy.rabbitsextoy.com. That to me is a link - as long as it is English speaking traffic of people with credit cards, not Chinese or Indian traffic, has no bestiality or child porn on the site and is not a link farm with zero quality content.

It seems to me a traffic broker may be more what I need.

Oh, I understand what you need. I was just tossing in my 2 cents worth that not all SEO links are created equal.

You are absolutely more likely to get quality clicked traffic, with seo value, from specifically targeted sites matching your desired demographics versus the general adult SEO links most will offer you.

What you described above is an SEO optimized advertisement, a hybrid if you will, that provides a creative along with value specific contextual content. That's not the standard "hardlink" that most will interpret and likely try to sell you here. That's all I was saying.

I get it. Shame that quality service is the exception and not the norm.

Read some articles about what kind of backlinks really help nowadays. Most likely you won't be getting these. Instead you'll probably end up getting low quality links that are quick and cheap to get but take months to clean up once you get penalized for that. Want to game the system? Cheat with something that takes hours to fix (if you’re busted), not months.

So you bump a 5.5 year old thread? That should work.
