After one week hard working developing their redlabel to match our site we get this. $500 down the drain.

Dear Partner,

We regret that we must inform you today that we are taking down our RedLabel solution.
We need to do some important maintenance until then we respectfully ask you to delete the RedLabel from your site. As this maintenance is urgent please act as soon as possible.

Please be informed that your connection to our RedLabel API has been cancelled.

We invite you to promote our outstanding cam-solutions with our established Whitelabels in the meantime.

I got the same email. I just spent the last month getting it set up and finally had it working halfway the way I wanted it. Didn't cost me any money, but I've put a shit load of time into trying to get a workable cam black label solution and thought I finally had it figured out. Very disappointing.

BUT the email doesn't really say whether it's permanent or temporary. Maybe it will come back in some form. I've sent a message to my rep with questions, so maybe I'll hear back soon.

So I just heard from my rep, and it looks like it probably isn't coming back anytime soon. Apparently there were issues that were just draining too many resources and they couldn't maintain it effectively. I get that. I'm a business owner, and sometimes you have to cut bait when things aren't going the right direction.

But still, a little notice would have been nice.....

We got the info from them too to pull it from our tube software for the time being.

If I had to take an educated guess as a programmer, I would say it's probably the geoip lookups that are killing them. Every single request had to be sent with the user's IP address so that it wouldn't show models that had certain countries blocked, and if people were listing the cams on video pages and homepages of their tubes/etc then that was probably hundreds if not thousands of geoip lookups that had to be done per second.

I don't see why not... an IP is not personally identifiable information. An IP identifies a device or a network, not a person.

my educated guess is that it was affiliate SEO friendly and they didn't like that

I doubt that. That would be both foreseeable and expected from the start, and they probably would have given longer notice.

I like many others are far more then just sad, we're pissed off! After investing hours of our time and money in this and now that's all pissed up the wall.

Less than a day notice is an absolute joke! Now I have a site sitting there without cams and a shitload of seo work.

Even if it comes back in the future I'm out, I'll look at other options for my site thanks.

Just use the XML feed and create your own red label. Not hard to do if you were good enough to create the red label with the red label feed.

The red label was something completely different, it let you do the whole transaction including the token spending and billing directly on your site.

Very different animal. XML allows you to show live models but not stream and interact with them on your site . The black label offers the entire product A-Z on your own domain. Zero traffic leak.

I respect you as a developer (way above my level, lol), but I don't think the geoip lookups had anything to do with this.

I suspect this had more to do with optics. Everyone is paranoid after the VISA/PH debacle.

Just went on cambuilder to check things out and saw I had an old whitelabel I forgot all about. Was surprised to see I have over 1k to be paid out once the required docs are sent in ��

From the two platforms I have promoted before one of them canceled because of biller issue and the other was the amount of bandwidth black label's were using.
