Are you talking indoors using artificial light or a greenhouse?

Yeah it's so harsh around here you can't really grow outside it's too hot too cold to windy.

I want to grow heirloom vegetables and dwarf vegetables that chefs can use to design menus and plates around.

I just wanted to know if anyone had experience I'm probably gonna start looking around for a place to set up I have a bunch of lights and air conditioners

Using lights to grow vegetables isn't very cost effective. Build a small greenhouse to protect against the weather.

I have a buddy with a greenhouse. He has to run a swamp cooler in it because it's too hot out here. Where I'm living now I don't believe I have enough power to run out to the backyard and I certainly don't want to build a greenhouse on a location I do not own

I have given it thought though.

And I'm kind of afraid you're correct it's not economically feasible to grow vegetables hydroponically.

Another really big issue out here is water. I want to try and set up some kind of water filtration system where I can reuse most of the water. I don't want to go with the aquaponics I don't want to mess around with a bunch of fish.

Were i to set up production where I live now I would have to buy a water tank and have it regularly filled from a vendor.

Water is one of the excuses they used to pull up all the grows out here in the desert.

And the city out here, the municipality wants to somehow get meters on people's Wells.

I grew some killer mushrooms but didn't do hydroponically. I grew on rye berries. I read about it for 2 months online. Then I turned into this mad scientist. Grew many pounds in tiny little spare bedroom closet.

The trip kind, lol. The strain was Penis Envy. 1/2 gram put your dick in the dirt. They made it legal here in Ann Arbor and Detroit. You can buy the spores online and have them shipped to house. It's legal most places to have the spores for scientific purposes. It's the only cure for depression they have found. I used to take everyday. After the first day there is no high anymore but your happy as fuck all the time.

Based on what you want to do and what you can't currently do, you may want to look into "earth ships."

Yeah, I've had sativa. Right now I have Indica. Neither makes me happy like shrooms did. I shut down the mushroom closet, the day my GF got pregnant, 10 years ago. I get immune to weed pretty fast, from over use, and can't get high anymore. I got hooked on Kratom for awhile. Loved that shit. Went over board, like I always do, and had to quit 2 times now. Back now to my miserable weed life.

You can grow them hydroponically in a greenhouse and have it be cost effective as long as you're using sunlight and fans, it's the swamp cooler and any supplemental lighting you use that is going to make it expensive. Desert gardening isn't easy.

I grew Psilocybe semilanceata, because they grew in my neighbourhood. But only around Halloween.

You could try the Kratky method of hydroponics.

I just grow in soil using artificial light, the whole hydroponic thing scares me a bit. Just like an indoor garden really, grow anything green. Hydroponic tent, lights, fan and pots for the soil.

I keep my tolerance to weed pretty low. While I have all the exotic concentrates, I don't smoke them very often
