Check if you received a manual action in GCS for spam. If not, it's probably some dumb AI algorithmic shit dumb google devs trying to optimize search results.

They claimed that they would root out the expired domain abuse, and push more relevant search results. But in reality, the opposite seems to be happening. Expired domains are still going as strong as before, sending you to their shitty landing pages, while relevant links such as MASSIVE NSFW subreddits lost 90 percent of their traffic over night. So it's not just regular site owners being hit. |

You're not alone. I got fucked by the HCU in November, lost almost all traffic from Google in the space of an hour. The recent core update just about killed it off completely.

![]() Hoping that I can recover some by the end of the core update.

Alot of sites have been completely removed for what they "Google" call AI Spam - some of these sites had millions of views a month and removed overnight - THis is a list of around 837 from a database this group monitors.

That was my first thought as well and may be the reason in this situation but without more information on the website or background data it's hard to say. Could be so many other reasons as well Technical Issue Penalties Content Removal Domain Expiry or Changes Algorithm Updates Competitive Factors All those also play a factor

What do show up, are other sites from me with a link to that sites. And it started around the end of november last year like the post of Ollay. |

![]() Site ranking is white labels, zero quality pages, and a complete mess. I've never used any kind of AI crap on any of my sites including the one from the image above. High-quality handwritten articles, technically clean site like it was for years. HCU ruined it almost completely, and a recent update killed it now. By reading SEO communities you will see thousands of stories like this with even better sites and in various niches. There is no way I am missing or overlooking something so big to have such an impact on the site. There is no single person, comment, or advice that makes sense. People are just talking shit and not telling anything

I guess it show somewhere on site:domaine.com because yes it say indexed in GSC but no where when you type the name. Website is still the first result on the query but not from the homepage which doesn't make sense for the user.

I looked over traffic analysis on a few random adult sites and they all seem to go up and down with these G updates. None of us gets the same backlinks, or uses the same keywords etc... Google has two buttons for adult: MORE & LESS. That's it. Lately, it been less for many of us. No rhyme or reason. |

For us this started with the HCU update back in August, 2023. We gradually lost about 40-50% of our traffic. Last time we suffered a similar drop in rankings was back in 2020 when it took about maybe 7-9 months to recover.

Although this is something to worry about, it can happen and usually it's just a matter of keeping on working and being patient before the next update will restore rankings. However, here comes the March Google update and we're losing another 25% of our traffic so far. Our rankings have NOT recovered. We never used AI. What I noticed after these updates is that Google Search became full of subdomain spam, scraper sites, and domains that immediately redirect to an offer. I'm not too optimistic anymore. |

My question to you is the numbers that are shown in your graph - are they from analytics or google seach console? There is a difference between the two on how they read traffic

https://BonsaiMary.com was an expired domain. It was picked up and rebuilt (using wayback machine) so that pages, posts, categories all matched the original. 1000 new posts were added over the course of 8 months. All written by AI and moderately edited by hand. Images, relevant videos, product links etc. About three months ago, google started listing more and more pages at a rapid pace. Site was doing great, was bringing in $6k/month and climbing Google update last week... Site is deindexed and completely removed from Google now. |

8 months of work gone in one day. That sucks. I think "G" knows better. All they have to do is look at the metric TOS and if the surfers spend time there, and come back often, it's a good signal to Google that people WANT to be on those pages, so why de-index it just because it was written by AI. I prefer the human touch whenever possible, but AI is useful. |

I am not targeting all of them, but it helps me have a better picture of is everything is ok and whether are there some strange jumps or drops. Google dancing is normal, some go up, some down but the situation should be stable and it was for a long time. After HCU everything dropped on the places where it is useless. Now, pages completely disappeared from SERPs (checking in the first 50 spots). At the moment, I am thinking it might be true, that Google is going for pure affiliate websites. I have other sites without change (actually with some improvement in traffic) but there are sponsored articles looking like some kind of neutral pages not only made to generate sales. Because if for a targeted keyword, in the top results a Whitelabel is looking the same as tons of other sites, how do Google requirements then apply? No informative content, no unique content. What I also notice is increased demand for buying links. Agencies are contacting me multiple times per day. No precise answer, maybe pros in the community believe that everything else is crap and links are still #1?

Mine are not expired domains but 10 years old + domains with real branded porn name I did choose. I guess negative seo killed them but fuck Google to always say "you just have to play it with the rules while in reality it has always been impossible to maintain a site for several years while being clean or not caring about its SEO, they say to play with their rules but they do nothing against negative SEO or the thousands of false anonymous DMCA requests that they receive every day. |

I noticed that now, when you search for a porn site's name like Swing My Wife (for example) you no longer see the actual paysite in the results. Instead you see YouTube videos about swinging, etc.

But if I type in SwingMyWife.com (like that) the SERPs appear normal to me. I am not using a VPN tho so my results are probably skewered.

just to add, someone is hitting me and i see thats not only me, hard on dmca, i received like 800+ dmca in 10 days, all fake, brazzers content reported on behalf of twitter and instagram, all fake, but some ass is taking this as part of his business, killing others hard work by sending fake dmca, so add your sites to g wm tools and act to these dmca fast. i got in touch with google rep, he told me, even if i win every counter, i can still get hit hard with these fake shit, so be aware, there is some rat out there ;)

edit: and btw, if you rat reading me, i have a baseball bat ready ... cops, yeah, i said that ... i have baseball bat ready for the rat ...

just to let you know, what can some false dmca do to your site ... there is some bitch that is doing this to his comeptitors, i think i already know, but i will never step to this kind of "strategy", if i dont know better i am going to kill the competitors. and google happily helping with it ... karma works, and i hope this guy will end up on wheelchair ...

![]() ![]() ![]() just check the dates ... the dmca screenshot is only part, in total the site received like 800+ false dmca in next two weeks or so ... btw, every single counter to the dmca's have been won, but the site never got back ... google support confirmed, that it is bad, as they said, but it is how the algo works now ... so, congrats google, on helping thieves and bitches and hard working people have eyes to cry or have to do the same shit and waste your time ... shit! ![]()

You also only have 12 referring domains, most of which are absolute shit links, to your site with that anchor. If you care about this, then you need to fortify your brand name. Build some links to your site with that anchor from quality places. Hit up Ravo - he has a few pubs with sites similar to that niche. |

Sorry that happened. I must suck big time. Google is a slave to the monster algo they created now. They need a better DMCA process in place. If it were to start happening to the bigger sites that google loves then they would likely change the DMCA process they have in place. Remember how people were afraid of negative SEO? Google said don't worry but then big SEO sites started testing and found that negative SEO was a thing. So then they created the disavow tool |
