i hate laptop stickers
why do companies insist on putting stickers on laptops, also i messed up removing the sticker had a bunch of sticky adhesive left on it.
for anyone else had this, i used goo gone, put some on a q-tip and wiped right off.

Typically that's a rubber/latex-based adhesive.
Any oil will pretty much destroy it, even the body's oil from sweat (eventually). Goo Gone is typically orange oil. But you could use veggie oil from the kitchen too. If you don't want to deal with oil, naptha, aka old fashioned lighter fluid will eat through the adhesive well and is easy to clean off. The trick I've learned with both is to use a generous amount. Works with tape, labels, stickers, price tags...
