It's an annoying but serious issue.

A girl doesn't magically de-age. If she was 18 at the time she filmed the scene, she is 18 after her ID expires.

bingo

beyond just the 'needing new ID's' thing (which I've only encountered once thus far, when c4s switched over to their new 'workspace' system), the biggest issue I've encountered is needing model releases specific to each platform. I assume that's part of what Joe's referring to re Faphouse?

an example: dude I shot a bunch of wicked content with several years ago. it still sells very well

when c4s asked for a new model release and ID stuff (copy of ID, pic holding it) I created a new model release that not only covered my c4s studios but also 'general', my site, and listed every damn platform I was using at the time. he was cool with it, but was a PITA for him to have to download adobe just to sign a fucking release he'd already happily signed for me way back when

now, there are two newer sites I use where I know the stuff would sell well, but I'm not about to drag him through that whole hassle all over again for two fucking sites. he'd probs do it if I asked, but we don't even live on the same island anymore, I only talk to him twice a year on whatsapp just to touch base

I can't read the future, I couldn't possibly have listed sites I hadn't joined yet, or in one case didn't even exist at the time that I wrote the new model release for him to sign

I get that 2257/consent rules have changed dramatically and will continue to do so, and that some platforms go further with their requirements as CYA in anticipation of new legal req's arising down the line, but it does make things considerable more difficult for those with legal copyright to content that's more than a few years old. those who followed all the rules that were in place at the time

for peeps like Joe with massive back catalogues it must be hella frustrating

Its exactly that. Not only does it take a week for them to approve model takes another week to approve video. Having said that they did get back saying I dont need download thier consent form I can use mine. So thats a start.

I haven't encountered that issue on any platform (that being said, I don't use Faphouse or XHamster), but it might be an issue that some seem to be trending more towards individual performers rather than production studios, and/or that each performer/vid needs to be verified brand new, rather than just adding the same smaller group of performers each time you submit a vid?

that's all just a guess, two weeks to publish a new vid is a lil weird though. if you're encountering long delays maybe hit up Captain Roo?

when uploading model paperwork, you´re asked to upload their 2257, this is downloadable, however, you can still use just your own paperwork.

As long as your paperwork has dates, full names & all the usual relevant information, they accept it.

It would be impossible for you to ask a model to sign paperwork from every company. The paperwork from each individual company is best, we have our own 2257, passport & OF paperwork to sign on each shoot.

But 2257 has not changed, that's the problem

People now make up completely random rules which obviously are completely disconnected from reality

Its not the paperwork i have that was the issue. They wanted me to download thier own paperwork and have me have models fill that out which was the issue. It seems its rsolved now.

for real. you're preaching to the choir over here, completely

hence my supposition that the requirements on some sites are due to lawyerly advice CYA in terms of future changes to regs. or who the fuck knows

for someone like me it's easy, annoying but easy to roll with. for peeps such as Joe (and I imagine you as well) with huge back catalogues with hundreds on performers it must be hella frustrating. that's all I was getting at

that's awesome, and thank you for creating this thread. not in terms of Faphouse, but just as a general approach when encountering a site that is all "this site is not listed in the release" nonsense

gracias to both you and Nat for practical info in terms of navigating this stuff

morning. and this brings up another issue for FH.... sometimes they reject the models real signature when you have them resign their special contract. if you're lucky enough to contact them thru agent or twitter (good luck especially if you dont have any new work for them) i've had situations where they still reject the model and their new paperwork due to a bad signature or bad writing skills. I think they have some AI or bot comparing signatures on ID card and contract. I have bad signature like most models handwriting too. Rejected. There should be another way if youve got an established library with brand name performers. Amateurs and 18yos, one timers I understand, but you should not have to verify a star girl with billions of views

please see AMA's and Nat's post above, apparently you can use pre-existing releases on FH. I am assuming this involves contacting support to request this specifically or perhaps either can shed more light?

fuck me though, so now signatures are an issue too as well? they have to be using AI, either that or the peeps reviewing haven't even bothered to do a cursory 2 min reading into understanding how signatures and hand-writing overall changes over time. which would be important to do if they are determining validity with that as a data point

like you, mine is a scrawl. I don't like my full name and it's long so many years ago (early teens) changed it into something I like. even that had changed over time. how I superimpose 2 chars, where I put dots and slashes, the shape of the last letter to the point where now it looks more like a different letter. subtle, but over time I've even noticed the diff

more overtly, I handle a lot of my mom's stuff but she still needs to sign off cuz both she and I want it that way. her handwriting is impeccable, her sign almost calligraphy. and even that has changed in the past few years. less lower loops, smaller uppercase on her surname, writing has shifted to a more right oriented slant. that was why I did that brief reading up, was curious why hers had changed up a bit and then checked mine and yep, same thing in diff ways

hand written signs are a reflection of where we are, how we feel. now. the fundamentals stay the same but no one I bet has the same exact one they had 5-10 years ago. astounding to me that is the issue you've encountered, utterly ridiculous

you should be able to not have to use their 'special' (lol, indeed) contract

much love to ya Shimmy and crazy that a thread like this even exists. signs too now? wow

again Joe, glad you posted this thread

hope everyone (whether navigating bullshit with proper documentation or involved in other stuff) has an amazing weekend

Thanks for the update. Two weeks ago I wasn't able to use my existing 2257 model releases that other platforms look at and then discard.

I love Faphouse. But as of two weeks ago, the model themself needed to sign into the document page, and fill it all out themself. Which is tough because I have content going back to the year 2004 that has not yet been seen on Xhamster or Faphouse. Content that generates revenue to this day on the other platforms, including ones that have corporate relationships with Faphouse.

And on top of that, the Model release form was written, pre-filled out, to identify me, the producer and at times co-performer, by my real name, not by any stage name appearing in the credits. That has "Doxxing" written all over it in Scarlet letters.

Last late winter, I needed to change my bank from the one that I had been using since 2017. But because none of my banks are in my "business name" or "corporate name", I wasn't able to keep my "studio" registration status. As an American, we individuals have every right, with every other online platform, to do business banking in our personal name.

Therefore, for the last three months, all of our new uploaded movies have been solos, rather than new duos or archived duos.

I hope one of their attorneys reads these forums.

I did get a survey from them the other day and took the 20 minutes to fill it out. Telling them how wonderful they are, but on the other hand, the problems with Model releases and banking.

I did do a survey with them several years ago, which resulted in a follow up telephone call survey. That was really great, and I think some of the things that I mentioned having to do with the categories and keywords, we listen to and improved upon.

But now we have these really big obstacles on our path with the model releases and the banking.
