Thanks shap.. Still no "official" word from any of the big players about affiliate sales reports being way behind. If we were with them we would have cut them out a year ago and the way this market moves around they would be out.

Let's face it when do we hear good things about IBill?

You process with them or go through a sponsor who uses them, who is really to blame?

Putting money on a 3 legged horse is not a good bet.

What happens when they refund Mastercard double charges? Aren't refunds considered the same as chargebacks?

Just days ago Ibill put out an announcement that they were going to be the savior of the industry because they've worked out some kind of deal with Mastercard.

And that was *after* these multiple rebills, judging by the dates mentioned here (10th, 14th).
What fucking balls.

I honestly can't believe that people are still processing with Ibill after everything's that's been done in the past - it literally floors me that there are this many people upset and shocked when another pile of Ibill shit hits the fan.

I really feel for you folks, honest I do. This is harsh and it's going to slice through your members like a hot knife through butter.
But you can't honestly tell me you haven't seen the writing on the wall.

This problem does not appear to have affected people using iBill's nextgen system. We don't see anything fishy in the transaction logs for the July 14th, nor have we recieved any complaints.

To answer another question we've seen a weakening in sales since June 24th.

We get significantly more sales and rebills with Ibill than any other processor we've tried, which is why we always end up coming back to them. I just wish they would get their shit together!

Again - I just looked over all my stats for the 14th, and havent seen a double entry anywhere. So it doesnt look like a system wide fault.

This has actually happended to me once before with another processor.

It was a mea pain in the butt, but I sent all the affected customers an email explaining what had happened, and what I was going to do about it.

I also gave them some freebies to keep them happy, and even offered to call them personally if they needed more information

I hope my thoughts are of help

Hi Evil Dan! The double billings don't show up in your stats. I'm guessing if you haven't had any emails you are probably safe. You might want to call ibill tomorrow to make sure your members weren't double billed.

As for us? The emails keep rolling in. We've got 10 guys so far that were quadruple billed, and they aren't happy.

Anybody ever thought what the effect on rebills will be if ISPS were required to email users everytime their account is scheduled to be rebilled? What is the likelihood of this happening?

What really sucks about that is that alot of people won't bother contacting you, they'll go straight to their bank.
And then not 1 but 4 chargebacks.

At least the ones emailing you, you can credit them back and give them a free month and they should be ok. Of course, you credit them 4 times and Mastercard counts all 4 of those against your chargeback ratio so you're still fucked.

You got it Lenny. For the guys that were quadruple billed, i went in gave them all 100% refunds, cancelled their membership and gave them 3 free months on the house. I'm not going to take a chance with a chargeback and want to make sure these guys are happy.

I understand mistakes happen. We all do. The thing that is really bothersome is when we are not contacted about a mistake. Had ibill email/called us and said look, we screwed up bad and double billed everyone, we want you to know so you can be prepared with your members. That would be cool. At least we'd be prepared. Instead they keep mum about it and we find out thru our clients. They are too concerned with their public image and not about their clients. As a result nobody new uses them and existing clients are getting fed up of their BS.

It's Monday Morning. From the thread it looks like nobody else got double billed. Is this accurate? We sent out an email to every member billing on the 14th. Every one that replied had been double billed, cmi showed them only billed once.

I stopped promoting my sponsor ages ago, but wonder if they will got bust soon because of Ibill.

It's not news that alot of people have left iBill due to not getting paid, bad customer service, CMI downtime and inaccurate reporting.

To all the guys who still use and tolerate iBill, what event would make you leave them ?

Actually we made the decision to leave ibill in early July when the new 1% visa statements were announced. We had been on the fence for a while. Ibill's lack of attention and acknowledgement of major issues in this biz are killing them. They claim the fact they are part of a public company benefits them, that's totally false. It may only benefit them from a financial stand point. From a customer stand point it hasn't helped. They refuse to make any public statements about anything going on in the business and any statement they do make is always 100% WORTHLESS! Ie the conference call last week, 100% load of bull.

We had many, many users double, triple, and quadruple billled on the 14th.

I have verbal assurance from Ibill that any chargebacks from those multiple billings will not cost us anything, and will not count towards the 1% cap. I'm working on getting that in writing. I'd encourage everyone else to also make sure Ibill is doing the same for them.

As an affiliate you can't really make decisions on backup processors - quite a few sites use iBill for backups. But I can, and do, make decisions on sponsors who primarily use iBill for signups and payouts.
No way, no how.

And I made that decision over a year ago when iBill emailed all affiliates and demanded that we come re-register our private information at their site and include the name, address, and phone number of the bank where we cashed our iBill checks.

I bill flat out stole sales from me. They couldn't give me transaction numbers for rebills, even though the date on the cmi said the rebill happened. Since ibill couldn't figure out what the fuck they did wrong they just decied the rebill never happened and cancelled the guy out of the system. now the guy is writing me that he can't get in.

what does ibill say, dah, they can't do anything unless they hear from the customer. i'm like right, the customer is interested in jerking the fuck off, they aren't going to call you and there credit card and send you a statement and also send a request to reactivate his username password, he's going to call the damn credit card and charge me the fuck back.

my sales rep is a total fucking stupid broad, she reads my emails and sends back an answer that has nothing to do with the question. the c/s reps are clueless. they need transaction numbers from me in order to help me. assholes, you never posted the trans # to the system, that's why i'm calling you.

ibill is so fucking worthless. i stayed with them because i paid them my 750 and i have a whole bunch of active members that i would never ask them to switch billing companies, i'd be sure to loose them. i am not good at this database stuff and can never get my shit setup right. i tried globill because they don't have the fee and i got to the final step of setup and kept getting an error. i couldn't figure out what i was doing wrong so i never went back to it. i have mysql on my server but never used it, i can't figure out asp either. my server is windows so i can't use htaccess.

i have been unhappy with ibill for a year, ever since last august. i have to change billing companies. i have never paid someone so much and got so little. i am so mad i could spit nails. i have been fighting with them on this for almost two weeks. today they axe the guy that i know got rebilled and the guy is up my ass, i look like a cheating bitch, and ibill refuses to reactivate the guys name so he can get in.

oh we can't do that. what, contact operations, we can't do that either. help you, eventhough you are paying us over 15%, no we can't do that either.

seriously, i think they are all so stupid. These people are getting paid like they are the ones on the internet naked and fornicating. Although I never felt exploited before now. I never felt exploited before ibill started figuritivly sodomizing me, which is nothing new. That's the kind of relationship we've had from the start.

I CAN'T WAIT TO BE RID OF IBILL, THEY ARE MY BIGGEST LIABILITY.

Now back to business. The cmi says this guy was rebilled on 7/14/03.
What is the transaction id for the rebill, it is not listed anywhere and

As far as the rebills I had one double billed that I could see. Seems
to be fixed. I can't comment on what I can't see, so there may be more
double bills. According to feedback from my members, the likelihood is
high. We will see what the customers say about their credit card
statement. From 7/11/03 to 7/19/03, which is the last time I checked,
members could not access members area using their Sub id. System was
telling them, the id was not active, go back and sigup again, the id had
expired. The usernames and passwords that are being entered by the
members upon signup are not showing in the cmi, nor am I receiving
emails notifying me of signups. I need access to that info. This
affected 8 members, that I am aware of, so the possibility of 8 refunds
and 8 chargebacks exist, if not more. I will not bear the financial
brunt of ibill system error. I am not receiving emails when I get a
signup, therefor, I wouldn't know if I am being credited properly for my
sales since there is possibly no record on ibill's end either. Let's
not even discuss the accouting reports, as they are obviously, utterly
worthless.

I know I am not the only one affected by this, but I still need
resolution. The situation is out of control and going down hill
swiftly. I am paying ibill a pretty steep fee. Too much to have to go
over all of your work and be a watch dog. I am paying you for that but
it isn't working out. I spend hours tracking your administrative
blunders and fielding customer service for members of my site, only to
be charged and charged so much there is nothing left for me. Do you
know that on 7/1/03 my check was $32.00 or some nonsense? Why? Because
of all your charges. Do not tell me it's visa. It's not visa. It is
ibill making the mistakes and bearing me financial hardship. I should
not have to put so much time into policing ibill. I expect proper
documentation and backup be available to me for all transactions, past,
present and future.


Let me know when we can expect cmi functionality and credible reporting.

numerous calls to Client Services, spent a lot of time on the phone and

What is the moral of the story...well, you may have sales that aren't even being counted. If they couldn't find my guys transaction # and just deleted him from the system it can happen to anyone. I know ibill sucks so i watch my shit like a pitbull. They can easily not post sales aand transactions to the cmi. It can easily go undetected. I caught this mistake and they still couldn't find the transaction. I bet I've gotten signups for my site that I was never paid for. I am sure of it, given ibill's performance, i have no doubt in my mind i have had signups that i never got paid for, and never even knew existed. i do not get emails every time i get a signup. sometime i do and sometimes i don't. when i don't i findout by accident the next time i go to the cmi that someone signed up. so why would i tbe so hard to imagine some sales and charges never make it to the cmi at all.

oh, did i fucking mention, i motherfucking hate ibill and am convinced they are run by a bunch of incompetant loosers.





by the way, can anyone help me figure out the coding and data base shit so i can finally sign up with another processor? please!

Didn't read every entry in this thread, but I just wanted to throw in my 2 cents. Our customers got rebilled FOUR (4) times. It's not just you. Fucking unbelievable.

the whole industry is fucked up

and now matercard says you can not advertise a price, you have to use a phrase such as, memberships start as low as $3.95 or what ever. and under m/c your payment processor is the one selling the good, not you at all.

ibill won't stand up for their clients, any ideas on where to go for payment processing? i hace been with ibill since 2000 and i just can't take it anymore.

all of them, ibill, visa, m/c, they should all get fucking naked and fuck on the internet, they are getting paid like porn entertainers so the should start acting like it.

and they better start going after the diry fucking bastards that sign up for sites and committ fraud when their wife finds the damn bill. visa & m/c clients are the fraudulent ones and they get away scott free. damnnnnnnnnnnnn
