get yourself an external harddrive kit. they are amazing and very fast if you have firewire. you just plug it in and drag and drop. if the hd gets full just swap it out for a new one. i use mine weekly, and its the best money ive ever spent as far as backups go.

hmm i got a stack of mysql databases as well.... think i might need to use a cloning solution to get backups of these?? dont think you can restore them just by copying the files back to the directories...

Drive Image 7 does it live and you can pick out files from the image to put back if you don't want to replace everything
I use it weekly and had 2 machines that I had to restore so I know it works

Works great and you can use it on all your computers, not just one. It also only copies the files that have changed. I use it to backup my work computers to my server daily, never a problem. Just my
