I just watched the "Hero's of flight 93". I cried most of the way through it.
How can a handful of stinky arab bastards do this. What is it going to take to rid the world of these kinds of low lifes. Back in my college days, I went to school with several "arabs", and couldnt stand them then. They stunk, burned the flag ect ect. (that was back when Iran was nuts)

Now we know there are sleeper agents here right now. They are just waiting to stike again.

I have heard some people say, "Well, we need the money the bring in as they are educated here". Well that comment just pisses me off. Look at the money we are spending now for the military and aid to afganistan, I would think it would even out.

do you know what an H1 visa is?

it's where the U.S. issues visa's to import workers to handle the surplus of tech jobs that American don't have the education for. 2000- 80,000 unfilled jobs in the computer industry that were taken by h1 visas, some 30% filled by "visiting arabs".

And looking at your post, i'm guessing you're at the GED or hs diploma level right?

If the North American people are uncomfortable now about flying and buidings or flying buildings, then that's that. Sacrifices have to be made, and if a few people are hard done by because of it well tough shit.

And what's with the attitude about someone's level of education? Does your right to voice your opinion strengthen as your educational achievements go up? Duhh, what a stupid thing to say. Make an intelligent argument bud, don't go attacking people's level of education, that's simply an ignorant thing to do here. It's especially ignorant considering the passionate nature of the subject.

Oh Fly get a fucking clue. I never said I didnt get along with arabs. "Most" of the middle easterners I attended classes with were rude and openly commented how much they disliked Americans. (this was when Iran was kicking up trouble) They also openly demonstrated on campus, burning flags. I was driving through the demonstration, had to in order to get off campus. They surrounded my car and screamed anti american hate. It was messy to say the least.
My point is: we dont need that in our country.

This is to the guy who said that there was an 80k "shortage" of tech workers. There never was, it was proven over and over again that it was just a move by the industry to get the far, far, cheaper and MUCH more exploitable labor force into the country. I.E. save costs.

H1B tech workers are one of the most exploited groups of people in the country. They are essentially forced to work far more hours for less pay than "normal" workers. Companies lead them on about sponsoring them for american citizenship, while never really doing so. They are pretty much "stuck" with the company that sponsored the H1B because if they leave it, they lose their visa and have to re-apply (a process which takes litterally years because of the swamped system).

I just hate it when people lay that crap on us. The economic downturn has PROVEN there was NOT a huge shortage of workers. The tech sector was by far the hardest hit (and I'm not talking about idiotic dot bomb companies that deserved to die anyways), and it's nearly impossible for most mid-career IT folk to find work now.

The H1B's should have never been let into the country in the first place. The system needs to be revised so employers can stop trapping employees that depend on them, and then perhaps things may become more fair.

oh well, just something I like to rant about.
