But not without a fight. I caught a break when I saw a pack of smokes on the counter but they turned up empty. In order to go down to the circle k to get a pack it would require a kayak.

I took some nicorrete gum. All is good.

Anyone else want to join me in quitting since the show is over?

I felt like I smoked all show .. I think I got lung cancer just from the 2nd hand smoke .. I'm detoxing starting this weekend .. way too many chemicals in my body

Just before I quit I read this article that said that the average "nicotine fit" lasts 10 seconds. So...when you are dying for a cigarette....get up...take a 10 or 20 second walk...breathe deeply. At the end of the 20 seconds you can handle things again.

Seems over the first few days doing this I convinced myself that I would only be bothered by it for 10 seconds and it didn't feel "forever" so I was able to handle the quitting ....10 seconds at a time.

That is a great way to look at it.

I hate the fits, I get really irritable. I have the gum for backup and it seems to work.

Im on day 6 right now, heres what you have to look forward to:

Getting TOO MUCH oxygen to your brain and your blood sugar levels being all fucked up. From day 3 until I have yet to figure out when, you get to spend entire days staring at inanimate objects and drooling on yourself while absolutely NOTHING goes on inside your head..

It's fucking bad too, you'll be sitting there.. staring at the led on your monitor or something and realize you have to piss, you get up and start walking, by the time your in the bathroom you're wondering what the fuck you wanted in here.. so you brush your teeth.. head back to where you were and realize you have to piss.

Im SOOOO goddamn tempted to go get a pack not because of any urges to smoke but so I can stop feeling like a belong in the special olympics.

P.s. You'd be shocked to find out how long it took to type the above out while battling my mind as it keeps wandering off to who the fuck knows what.
