I miss the 80s too!!

Saturday morning cartoons, Big Wheels, neon plastic things for your bike spokes, the first Nintendo, Cabbage Patch Kids, jelly bracelets and shoes, IBM PC Jrs., Garbage Pail Kids, MTV had actual music videos on, only 5 or 6 TV channels unless you had a HUGE satellite dish... Being a kid in the 80s was the bestest.

Me too but I like being an adult so if I had to go back I would want to go back as an adult and see what it was like from that perspective and maybe sleep with Robert Smith when he was still sexy.

Going to disco with thin black leather tie, listening to Samantha Fox, Sabrina, Falco and Duran Duran - lots of good UK pop on MTV - chasing and impress the bubblegum eating girls almost breaking my neck because of non passed break-dance lessions. Watching Miami Vice or A-Team on sundays. Or maybe play some pacman or spending hours on Rubik Cube - Watching less commercial sport events, where the only drugged athletes were hairy women from DDR - Betamax or VHS formats, no more no less - The sound of "hey lets go somewhere" and burning wheels, instead of the sound of annoying beep beep cellphones everywhere - The fall of the Berlin wall - No terrorists or stupid wars to worry about, only entertaining cat & mice games with CCCP.
Those were THE best days, and best of all; no internet

PS. One thing that I really hated; my best friend had a soda stream at home and I did NOT!

I'm older than some of you guys -- graduated from college in 1983.

The 80's were SO much better than the 90's or the 00's. If you weren't there it's hard to explain.

Hard to believe there was no Web though . . . .
