Happy 4th of July weekend
I thought it would never get here...... What an ordeal!
Should we sing, "We Shall Overcome" or "Kumbaya"?? Anyways, with Justice O'Connor resigning today, the Senate is poised for a meltdown. We haven't seen anything yet......this is going to be the really "Big Show". The local paper had a man calling for revolution in America in yesterday's editorial section... People are really starting to get fed up with the cronyism, lack of respect for individual rights and the ineptitude of this administration. I can see where the recent property rights decision of the Supreme Court may actually gain us some support in the long run as people realize their individual rights are REALLY under attack. I feel this is the calm before the storm.....still air, heavy air, and dark clouds. But, today, I'm sitting in a patch of sunshine... I wish you a happy holiday and best wishes to you and your families. Try to spend some time with those you love. |
