Sports bettors...explain this please

Favorite WAS Point spread -7½ Total 37o/u Total money line -110

Ok, I have never been much on sports betting so explain those numbers in laymens terms. this is the line for the Skins/Eagles game this week and I read it to say, washington is favored by 7.5 points, the over/under is 37 points (being the total amount of points being scored by both teams combined?) but what is the "Total money line"? Also, how does a parlay work? Like I would bet that both Washington would cover plus the total points would be atleast 37? Is that correct?`

in this case, the money line is you have to bet 110 dollars to win $100. If it was +110, it'd mean that you win $110 for every $100 that you bet. Make sense?

the money line cancels out the spread. when you bet the money line you are betting that the team will win (no spread).
that money line does not seem right with a 7.5 point spread though.
if the spread were a pk or -1 then that money line would be correct, but on a 7.5 point spread the money line should be more like -180/+170 (i haven't bet in a while so i don't know what the money line on 7.5 points is anymore, i'm just trying to show that is should be a lot higher than -110)

parlay just means that you would have to win both your bets in order to win any money. a 2 team parlay pays out better than if you were to take the 2 plays on straight bets. obviously a 2 team parlay doesn't pay as well as a 3 team parlay etc. the more teams you throw in the bigger the payout, but the harder it is to win....since you have to win them ALL in order to see any return.
