NATS affilate feedback please

Sponsors, I know it works well for you guys, I know all the old bugs have been worked out.

I want to hear from the affiliate side, comparing apples to apples...are you seeing good ratios, good conversion to full, good rebills? What are your thoughts?

thx,
Ray

I love promoting NATS programs. I get great tracking stats, I see great ratios compared to non-cascading sites and the interface is very familiar. I try to stick to only programs using NATS.

oh gotcha...

well i know you don't want sponsor opinions.. but the only tracking problems i ever had with nats, was when i first launched my first paysite, and i forgot to add the tracking code in one of the pages.. lol

i also have done a shitload of test transactions to make sure everything works, and never had a problem

bump for affiliate feedback for you

also, in case some nats affiliates miss this thread

you should do a gfy search for those "spam me with nats sponsors" kind of threads, and see if you have any of those guys on your icq, that you can hit up and ask them what they think too

I make more money with programs that don't use NATS. That's simply because most of the niches I currently promote haven't had many NATS sponsors. That's about to change so we'll see hwo they do.

I dislike having to select campaign and program everytime I want to just download some banners.

I REALLY hate their links though. You have to generate every damn one. That's fine if you're only running a site or 2 but when you have a lot of sites and want to use the campaign tracking it's a MAJOR pain in the ass... Programs that let you just tack on some extra text are FAR better. God forbid you want to run your links thru a common script on all your sites. Then you're stuck with just using the "default" campaign.

Same problem with FHGs. If you want to load them all up in a database but have different campaigns for each of your sites it's a MAJOR hassle.

Stats are pretty nice though, especially being able to see the complete referers... So many programs lack that most basic of required sales analysis tools.

Thanks for your input. I guess like everything else, its got good and bad points. Im not to worried about link setup, even if its a huge pain. Stats are more important to me.

Thank you Tempest

I have cut WAY down on the number of sponsors I will promote that use either a shitty piece of software or the processors tracking software.

A notable exception to the rule would be Nubiles.net which converts good enough and pays me enough that I wouldn't drop them ever.

But I did drop about 60 or so ccbill sponsors and guess what? Now I make $35 - $40 a sale promoting REAL sponsors who have paid to play. Sponsors using NATS, MPA or Monolith or some other REAL software for counting clicks.

I also noticed that shit converts better. MUCH BETTER! Go Figure!

But it isn't JUST the tracking... The same sponsors who were willing to BUY tracking software also pay TOP DOLLAR for their designs and content.

But like I said, there are a few notable exceptions and Nubiles is one of them. I DO wish they would switch so that I can be a more empowered affiliate and use shit like campaign tracking...

Thank you for taking the time to write that. You made some very good points.

I've done some searches here and some other boards and it looks like I've come to a decision. I will be visiting the NATS booth in Vegas.

"I get great tracking stats, I see great ratios compared to non-cascading sites"
how about comparing a site pre-nats and after nats.
that may prove that cascading makes an affiliate more money.

so far no affiliate can show solid
proof that cascading has made them more money.

most all of the very best transexual sponsors use ccbill and as
long as those sponsors do not solely rely on cookies for
tracking I'm happy and rather they not change.
that and I'm no fan of epoch.

You will NOT be sorry you did... and as an added bonus YOU get to skip out on the $1500 everyone else has been paying for setup/training...

You cannot beat $150 a month!

(Nubiles... [ahem] I want some campaign tracking!)

Tell them I sent you and they will also give you a free, complimentary swift kick in the nuts!
