Wake up Splitinfinity!

I submitted a ticket to you guys 3 days ago, my server still isn't up!!
What kind of support is that?? I tried ICQ and "Live help" too, but no response either.
My client ID is 202

And no, I won't call you on the phone, since I don't live in US and prefer text contact.

And this isn't the first time Split is so slow with support...

My TGP was down for over 14 hours. Tried to contact them through most methods. Finally got a msg this afternoon with "its fixed" and no further explanation. It'll probably take me weeks to recover from this...

Was just looking at my server and found out that they moved me from Verio to Cogent without notifying me!

What the hell are they trying to pull here. I signed up with Splitinfinity because they told me that I'd be using Verio bandwidth but now they switch me to cogent.

Atleast lower my monthly price if your going to switch me to inferior bandwidth.

Please read the statment below. I am sorry for your downtime

On Jan 11th Verio notified us they will be shutting down all connectivity and selling the

San diego facility and gave us two weeks to re-number off of any ip space we were delegated

through them. Due to the short notice verio gave us we had no choice but to immeditly begin

the re-numbering process of our ip space to better bandwidth which would be better fit for

all involved parties. Rest assure that everything is being done as fast as possible to

assure the least amount of down time. If you feel your server needs to be up faster then the

others please contact me at 858 610 7152 and we will work out a way to prioritize your

server.

That is a case-study of bad customer service reply.

Don't EVER give excuses to the paying customer why you haven't provided the service he pays for. Its a internal problem in your company that you don't have staff to take care of your problems - that is what the customer pays you for, to handle your job as a hosting company.

So how much downtime will this cause?

Submitted a ticket over 35 hours ago, and the server is still not online.
When can I except it to be back?

Well tough luck, too bad my server still isn't online... I talked with chris few hours ago, he assured me it will be up in about an hour. I'm losing money because of it.

That is the one plus to this move our new datacenter is carrier neutral, and we are lit with a 11 different providers. For those who think we have going from Verio to Cogent you are wrong. We bought the ip space off cogent because we were limited in time and the routes will be upaditing soon. You will see level 3, cox, yipes, xo, sprint, road runner and more. Have a nice day
