I'm not a Lakers fan, never have been. I grew up rooting for the Suns back in the 70's (and rooting for the Suns back then took some serious patience, 'cause they sucked big time), and the Lakers put the hurt on them year after year after year. Now, I'm not really a fan of any team - I just like to watch the games. The only problem I had with the finals was that they were no contest at all. Such a letdown after that classic Lakers/Kings series.

I hate the lakers with a passion, but I won't say that they aren't good. A two man game consisting of Kobe and Shaq, should not even be compared to a two man game consisting of Walker and Pierce. That is stupid!! a bunch of WNBA players could play with Shaq and Kobe and probably beat the Nets. The Mavs and Kings, both have more talent than the Lakers, but Shaq is just a fucking Gorilla down low. Nobody, unfortunately, can even slow him down. Bastard!!

Lakers are good no doubt. They have the zenmaster to prevent Shaq from bitchslapping Kobe, when he's out of line.

I'll say one thing though. The western conference final was rigged. Every game, besides game 1, the ref was paid(my oppinion). The officiating was not consistent at all. The ref tried to balance it out, but the final equation has the Lakers getting much more calls, especially game 7. I mean, I see Shaq getting mauled all the time in other games, but here, Vlade and the others barely touched em', and this big gorilla gets all the call.

Kobe and Rick Fox challenged every call, and they never get a technical. Let C. Web open a his mouth, and voila, a technical.

The bad call has reach the point where the NBA will impliment a replay during the crucial minutes at the end of each period.

A close game should not be decided by the ref. Consistency, not starpower.

Jordan had no 'dominant bigman' to back him. He had one good role player by his side, namely Pippen. Otherwise, everyone followed his lead. If Shaq goes, so goes the Lakers. If Kobe goes, the Lakers are still a favorite. At 23 Jordan didn't have a 400lb 7+ feet dominant big man and experienced zenmaster behind his back.

I don't care if I get slated, Portland is WAY better of a team technically then the Lakers - hands down, almost every player on their team is a great B-ball player on his own.

The only thing holding them back is they are almost all punk ass street bitches who loose their temper. But thats why I love the team - lots of heart.

But the NBA hates them cuz they are punks. If any of them complains about anything they get a technical - its retarded. Last year in the finals a Ref went up to Wallace and told him he didn't like him and he wanted to throw him out. So when Wallace got pissed about it he did throw him out. Thats pure Bullshit. You can't tell a player you don't like him if you're a ref....

And everytime Portland plays LA in the finals LA wins each game by a basket or two. You turn around a few of those BS calls by the refs and Portland would have beaten LA over and Over again. Just like the kinds of calls against the Kings this year when they played the lakers......
