How many Affiliate webmasters are out there?

Trying to figure out the approximate amount of affiliate webmasters out there. Its not going to be easy because many use up to 30 different sponsors, but still, how many webmasters are out there? 10000? 50000? 100,000? I can't believe its over 100k. I'm not talking about pornstars, hosting techs, or Epassporte representatives, I'm talking about webmasters, the guys that Put The Porn on the Web everyday.

What do you think?

Way more than I ever imagined.. However, there is a big difference between the affiliate that throughs up a free site for the hell of it and makes 1 or 2 sales per month, to affiliates pushing 10+ sales per day.

I would think more than 100,000+, depends how you define an "affiliate webmaster"... People working full time or people just doing it for beer money?
If we are talking people who are working full time as a webmaster, we are talking a fraction of that number.

The difference for most programs is between "active" affiliates and ones with accounts.

Many surfers have discovered how easy it is to get free content by becoming an affiliate.

Interesting fact, that if we take 50,000 webmasters as an estimate number of webmasters promoting porn on daily basis, and compare that to about 15000 paysites that are currently up (including the AVS ones) It seems that there are approximately 3 webmasters for every paysite we have..

There are about 2500 TGP/MGP sites, so that makes it 20 webmasters for every TGP site.

And there are more than $10,000,000,000 of revenue in this business generated in the whole 2006! Having said that it appears that every webmaster made approximately $200,000 last year But thats just silly of corse.
