That would put the gross for that event at about $1,600. From that Donny was paid $2,000?!?

I heard one 10+ minute interview with Donny and he never brought up "The Game". He also didn't correct them when he was descibed as "one of the world's greatest porn producers".

In a ********* podcast, which apparently was Donny's unedited 20+ minute Porn and Pancakes "Dog and Pony" show, there is not a single mention about Donny and "The Game" (even though a huge slide is projected in the background that shows Donny, Belinda and Spannow in front of a Playboy mansion sign).

Donny never mentions that he also appeared in some porno movies that he shot, or about how much he lied to his ex-wife - instead they present a sanitized Donny, and he is lauded as a great family guy. No mention of his abuse of Belinda or drunken meltdowns is provided.

In his blogs, Donny tries to make readers believe that most girls in the industry have STDs, and that their lives are ruined by being in porn ("almost every model" he came into contact with near the end of his porn life he states). That's funny - I've had a few models express mild regrets about people learning about their modeling, but not even they said that their lives were ruined as a result of being involved in the adult industry (and I've worked with well over 100 models).

Donny's new self-proclaimed mission is to take away the fantasy underlying porn. Now i personally havent heard these podcasts or ANY of his speeches .... but this is what he told me personally.

Donny is deluding himself as he is trying to delude others.

The organization he is working with/for is anti-porn. They use an unusual approach, but their mission and message is in fact anti-porn (********* doesn't even approve of masurbation).

He can try and spin it any way he might, but he certainly isn't promoting porn, nor even neutral towards it, because the foundation of his message is anti-porn.

personally i can't see any need for religion unless you are some kind of weak minded person who needs a reason or an afterlife to feel better about their current shitty life because, does it really matter what came before or after this life? do you need religion to treat people with respect and do the right things in life? i surely hope not. why do people need religion? to fill a void? i just don't get it. i believe in the idea of a higher power but some people let it control their lives so much.

and science is faith? faith is defined as belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence which is not what science is at all. sure many theories will be debunked but thats that is major difference, science allows for the evolution of ideas whereas religion is stuck, new ideas are viewed as blasphemous.

I never said Christianity is wrong, I said that things don't make sense to me. Why would a God create this world and have it sit with sludge, plants, and eventually other animals for hundreds of millions of years before putting us on it? Why would he go through millions of years of evolution to finally get the final product? Why would he create this massive universe with stars and planets? It just seems like a lot of unnecessary work.

I'm not saying there is no higher power. I still don't understand how the "big bang" could just happen out of nothing.

As for taking the bible literally, that is what a lot of Christian leaders do. Whether it's finding obscure passages in the bible to condemn homosexuality or something else that is being preached about, there are people out there doing it all the time. When science disproves something that is in the bible, they come out and say it is not meant to be interpreted literally. I just think that too many Christians pick and choose what should be taken literally and what shouldn't.

I'm of the opinion that the days of the age old divisions between science and religion are finally coming to an end as we move forward into a more knowledgable and enlightened era. Thank fuck the spirit of openmindedness survived all the shit thats been thrown at it over the centuries and it has got us this far, for without it I really hate to think what this world would be like today.

He has no reason to hate porn, without it, they're out of business.

I also have no problem with helping those with problems. Like gambling, alcohol, etc, porn can be addictive and can cause problems for some people. I think the stereotype they try to portray of the community is bad however. Most guys in the industry are normal guys and I don't think suffer from some horrible emptiness.

But I guess I just wonder if there are better things out there to save people from. I know they found a good niche market to target and business will do well, but I just think there are much bigger problems in this world than someone looking at some titty pics. With people across the world starving and dying from disease, I find it hard that God would rather see these guys dedicate their lives to making sure some guy doesn't run up his credit card at BangBus.com.

When Donny was "Donny" on GFY, doing his born-again act, I was rather critical of him - however when he stopped posting here, I stopped posting about him as well (even though many others started threads about him and continued to bash him).

So today Donny e-mails me (even after I politely requested for him to stop doing so some time ago), and suddenly it occurs to me, that he is lying now more, as a supposedly born-again Christian, than he ever did as a pornographer.

At least he supposedly told prospective models the truth, whereas he sugar coats his own background now to look good in front of the Christian audiences that he now craves attention/money from.

In my view, he is involved in a more sleazy enterprise currently, than he ever was when he was in the adult biz.

Here is the problem. Whether you want to believe it or not the various faiths have formed our socities belief structure today. There is no way around. You can say we'd all be better off without religion, but where we're at today is a result of religion. You can say you didn't grow up in a religious environment and that it's done nothing for you. But it's a fact that religion has played a vital role in shaping our current society and what we believe to be right and wrong today. It doesn't matter if you're not actively involved with a religion or believe in it. You interact with people and the world. It has helped shape what you believe in.

as for science, for the hell of it i'll throw out a glaring obvious argument that i've seen used before. show me a math equation that proves love exists. it's something most of us know is real, but it cannot be proven to anyone but yourself. and then only through experience.

i don't really want to get into arguments about science. it ends up in a never ending philosophical circle.
