I have one of them electric chairs that have the massage pieces in them. I guess if you work on the computer alot then it would pay to have a nice comfortable chair you enjoy

I don't think I need a $1000 chair . to be honest i sit on the edge most of the time so for all i care it could be a fucking soft bench. but i have a nice big Cherry wood desk so i bought a modest $200 leather executive chair. it's just fine ... not to expensive but still looks nice with the desk.

Just get a decent leather chair that reclines/leans back. I don't really think the $1000+ ones are worth it unless you are going for a nice wood / high quality leather one.

I personally sit in a chair that I got from my kitchen table set. I broke my leather chair somehow when I was really drunk and havn't gotten around to buying a new one. I don't even really miss it

I think you need a chair that is rated for however many hours you work in it per day...I've bought chairs that weren't rated but felt comfortable...and within 3 months were just useless...and then I found chairs rated at like 6+ hours etc...and they last a hell of a lot longer.

I bought a Herman Miller but to be honest it doesn't do much for me... I spent half the time with one leg over an armrest slouched down as low as I could go. Sitting upright "properly" in one just felt uncomfortable. Now I do most my work either in a slouched laying down position, or in my hammock or on my sofa.

I've got a really comfortable $200 black leather chair. The seat and back are extra cushy, and there's a crap load of adjustment options. I just look for a chair with a lot of options so that at least one angle is perfect. But, anyone who sits in my chair and fucks with the levers must die!

It used to until I got two puppies that decided it was a chew toy. Now, I sit on a wooden kitchen chair.

Your chair is the most important piece of office furniture you have as a webmaster who spends several hours a day in front of your computer ...

Features to look for are full high back, that will support your entire back and neck, as well as what they call a "waterfall" seat cushion ... meaning that the shape of the seat cushion is such that will promote proper circulation in your legs.

You do not need to go out and spend 1000$ on a chair, but you should invest in more than a Staples $59 steno chair too ... just my

I have the Herman Miller Areon and my wife had the Steelcase Leap. I wouldn't trade them for anything.

I have a couple leather ones we picked up for around $150 each but I'm not really liking them too much. Once I move my office downstairs I will probably pick up a new desk and chair.

I bought a leather SteelCase Think chair. Best thing I have bought in a long time. You can get it without leather for $649 (full leather is $899)- http://store.steelcase.com/ProductDe...oductCode=E011

I bought a $150 chair. It worked well for 6 months and then I noticed back pain, fatigue, and poor posture.

I would say spend the $$ on an ergonomic desk instead. I have an anthro setup and their stuff is heavy duty and nice. This desk lets me go from siting to standing if need be.
