Looking for a script to use for my RSS Feed List...anything out of the box?
I want a script that I can use for my rss feed list, which is here http://www.justjace.com/2007/08/13/u...ds-that-i-use/
I want to be able to enter in a sponsor and also enter in a url for that sponsor, that way I get commission for referrals when someone signs up from my site Then I enter in all the RSS Feeds for that sponsor, each feed will have a category, type and notes...the title will always be used and the description will be used to tell users if the feed has errors, etc....so it might not always be used. in the simplest form what I need is all that above, but I also want some cool features in the front end for users I would love for the script to check the rss links about once every 10-15 days...all that it needs to do is go to the rss feed, check the last update date in the feed and display that next to the feed link So, when a user comes to the site, they click on a sponsor, and they see rss feeds a list like this: http://www.sponsordomain.com/feedurl.xml?aff123456 Category: Teen Type: Full Text with 2 Images Notes: This is a great feed, but gives errors occasionally from poor coding Lasy Updated: August 1st, 2007 I want the front end rss feed list to sortable by Category, Sponsor Name (default) and last updated i know what I described here is pretty detailed, but if I can find something out of the box and then have someone modify it later to meet exact specs that would be way better than having someone do it from scratch |
