![]() One europe based program needs a sales rep for english speaking market who is supposed to:

Easy Answer: Since you are wanting the person to be involved in the community, and active in the US market, all things being equal in qualifications, take the US based native rep.
You will save on moving costs, travel, etc. Bonus points if the US rep has other language skills. |

I think it will be easier overall to have a states based rep who speaks native english..just an opinion tho..

I am slightly biased on this question
![]() I am English, live in Spain and work for a US company. Good English is important - but focus on comprehension. A lot of overseas reps have great written English - but often they cant understand the point that is being made. Anybody you take on as rep will be experienced in the industry so they will be used to working strange hours to fit in with US timezones. I will take the fifth on the subject of salary. ![]() |

Ok, so the gist of what I read above is:
- language - cultural mutuality But it's money issue on the other hand. Will the two points above outnumber the payment which is surely supposed to be bigger for US (english as native lang) rep than that of a european one? And again, what is considered to be a good payment for US rep if we don't take giving shares into account? Will it be $2.000 or $5.000 or $10k a month for an experienced native language rep with good online promotion skills? |
