Discuss what's fucking going on, and which programs are best and worst. One-time "program" announcements from "established" webmasters are allowed. |

Syncronized Forums
When I ran my BBS there was this feature that came out shortly before the arcnet/internet where you could share/syncronize certain forums with other BBS's. It would dial-out once a day and retrieve/send/syncronize. This was quickly overrun when NNTP/newgroups came out and people starting using those instead...
I think it would still be a cool feature today to have shared forums on adult webmaster BBS's... ie:cheaters, announcements, etc. so that all the information was automatically be broadcasted throughout the shared forum's ring of awbbs. What do you think?

I can see how this can be easily achieved with boards running phpBB, you just enable MySQL relication of certain tables and data would propagate in real time. I also see how this would create a big mess since there's many more assholes on the Internet than in the BBS days.
