Allopass have been around a long time, always a good sign :-)

Pay-per-call phone billing also remains popular in France, not least since it is capped ? French users know that they will be charged no more than ?0.34 per Minute over and above a ?1.35 connection fee ? so take-up for paying for web content this way is high since French surfers know in advance that they will not end up with an exorbitant phone bill at the end of the month.

but sorry to tell you that in France nowadays, the money is not in phone billing anymore...
Everyone in France has a credit card and they use it as long as the product they buy worth it.

That's the reason im saying phone billing is not anymore the highest revenue generating solution

While phonebilling may not be the highest revenue making solution, phonebilling still works great in France, conversions ratios are quite high, at least for us, while many people in Frace do own credit cards, many of them will rather not use them for paying in the internet

i understand you will not say phone billing is dead, that's your business ;)

the only thing i can tell you is that every french webmasters is dropping micropayment nowadays.
Not because it's dead, but because they make 5 to 10 times more sending onto a credit card sponsors.
