Linux System Administrator Needed

Location: South Florida or can work virtual anywhere in the USA.
- PART TIME - but possible to turn into FULL TIME.

Role Includes
- Management of 2+ remote servers.
- Recommendation of infrastructure purchases.
- Being Self motivated with the ability to work solo.

Skills Required
- Linux
- freebsd
- MySQL
- Automated monitoring systems
- Expertise in remotely managing servers
- 5+ Years network administrator experience
- Capacity planning, server maintenance, troubleshooting, disaster recovery.
- Web Security

Other
- Must be available by phone/email/icq/skype

Hard to believe you would hire someone to manage 2 servers but OK.

Perhaps GrouchyAdmin on here would be a good bet, dunno how busy he is.

depends what the pay is, i know a two people who do side work

bifrost used to be CTO of united layer, and past jobs have been microsoft, homestore, softbank, and a bunch of others.

brite is another good one, recent work apple, hotjobs, yahoo, and is current kernel programmer for freebsd os.
