I took bitchin' pictures of my time in Amsterdam, hanging out with peeps, the lush German countryside, and my day at LeggoLand Denmark... and they're trapped in my now defunct memory card. Does anyone know how to recover pictures? It cannot be read in any card reader I've tried.

There is software out there jenni that will recover the memory card, search google for memory card retriver or hit me up

yeah there is recovery software out there, some of it you can try before buying, if it works u buy it if not , you dont.

Oh snap! What is it with us an Amsterdam pics? My pics from the show last year got wiped the day after I dumped them onto my harddrive and it failed.

I hope you can get them recovered. As Pete said, there is software out there that can help.

That sucks!! Happened to me....virtumike and I did a shoot in a grow room in amsterdam and I lost all of the pics!!

It can't be worse than my first trip to Brussels on an anniversary trip. I took pictures of everything possible and then left my whole digital camera in the back of a taxi on the way to the train home.

Definitely try the software. I have recovered content before that seemed corrupt.

I feel your pain, it sucks when you loose photos, they are something that you can never get back. I had three disposable cameras when I was in Iraq and they had all fallen between the turret and hull of my tank and got crushed. Hopefully you can recover yours.
