We offer multiple IPs on our HHA plan ($9.95 / month) or better (the base plan comes with 1 dedicated IP, additional IPs are $1.00 each).

Please contact me with any questions.

is anyone really that stupid as to believe that in this time and date just by placing your sites on different C blocks google won't know that all these sites belong to the same person?

different C blocls were relevant 5-6 years ago. not anymore.

I don't think anyone has ever said that "just" using different C's will make a difference.

Summer promo going on below, 1-3 months free depending on the pay cycle you choose. 1 IP comes with the base plan for $9.95, additional IP's are $1 each, but we don't do separate class c's for these.

We have a hot shared server special right now at AmeriNOC/Phatservers! First month free on all shared plans. If you are looking for a larger virtual server, you can get 3 months free if you pay on a quarterly basis.

Our smaller shared plan comes with 8 IPs and is as follows:

AM-NOC-S1
75 GB Disk Space
3200 GB Bandwidth
8 Users Per Server
8 Unique IPs
Burstable Traffic

No setup fee, FIRST MONTH FREE WITH COUPON, fully hosted.

Check it out here: Amerinoc.com/shared.html and contact me with any questions at 421864528 on ICQ. Good luck!

To clarify, our largest virtual plan includes the following:

AMNOC-V4
2500 GBs Transfer
25 GBs Disk Space
6 Unique IPs

This is still smaller than our AMNOC-S1 (Shared) plan:

AMNOC-S1
75 GB Disk Space
3200 GB Bandwidth
8 Users Per Server
8 Unique IPs
Burstable Traffic

As you can see, both cover your IP needs. If you want to discuss more about your disk space and bandwidth needs, I'd be happy to talk to you about it on ICQ (421864528)

We're running specials on both virtual and shared plans right now with our coupon code, so check them out at AmeriNOC!

you can easily find out whether the sites are hosted on one server (multiple ip's) by checking out mac address of the lan card. so, the solution is one IP - one LAN card.

And how does a remote user gain see the MAC of a given IP? That info is irrelevant for WAN and doesn't go past the router the box is connected to.

It's been longer than that actually. Google's director of technology noted in a slashdot interview from 2002 that the IPs are not considered in their indexing process.

Did you even bother to read his response? He did not address multiple C's at all. All he said was shared and dedicated servers are treated equally. He did not mention C's or shared vs dedicated IP's.

Look again at the question. Quoted here:

Quote:
Why in this day and age does google continue to penalize sites that are virtual hosted? With ip addresses becoming harder to get/justify every day why does google discount the relevance of links that don't come from a unique ip address. Please don't just deny it, I think the Internet community deserves an explanation.
The question itself was about links coming from shared (ie. non-unique) IP addresses.

His response addressed "virtually hosted" domains not on unique IPs. Not going to quote the whole response, but:

Quote:
Google handles virtually hosted domains and their links just the same as domains on unique IP addresses

You can get that info past the router if you really wanted to. But that has no baring on this conversation.

This must have been released after 2002.

Quote:
Host Crowding = If multiple results come from the same Web host, then only the first two are returned.
Read between the lines.

I know SEO firms that will not even take you on as a client if your domain is not hosted on a dedicated IP.

Shared server - fine.
Shared IP - not so much.

Webair has one of the most flexible ip assignments I've seen in the hosting business. Sequential, different C-blocks, they were able to accomodate pretty much whatever I threw at them in requests.
