Over the course of a full 24 hours I get about 2000 spam messages. About 95% of them get caught by the filter.

"Hello, this is Mike (in an Indian accent), I'm calling about your prescription." One time I just answered "St. Michaels, Father Andrew speaking" and expecting them to hang up - instead I got the response of "Hello Father Andrew, I am calling about your prescription."

I get about 2000 a day but the majority get filtered. Probably about 200 actually make it through to my inbox.

I gtet 1k plus a day and funny none of them are adult!!! A few years ago I use to get bombarded with adult spam!

I stopped counting as nothing passes the spam filter nowadays. Gmail is filtering it extremely well. I actually forward all gmail mails automatically to my company email and you'd be surprised how many legit emails are being blocked by Windows Mail.

Zero.... I use gmail... and it's fairly good at catching 99.9% of the spam out there... every once in a blue moon one sneaks in there... but clicking on "Report Spam" and it never comes back.

I'm sure their spam whitelists are probably the largest and most accurate in the world, with millions of people reporting spam, it's got to be a never ending battle with spammers vs. Google.
